  WGTdbloshoe,  Thank you for setting up this tournament.  Wow, the winds eat mine lunch.  Finished  t6.  Too many 3 putts.  My hat goes off to the 4 TL's who played in the final.  Again thank you,  Richard

  two bogey's, one three putt, -4 = 50  ( got a catch in my back trying to hold off th wind )

  After knocking out an easy 45 in my first play of the course last week, I thought I'd come and show everybody how it's done.

  I forgot that my 45 was with medium winds and tournament greens. With high winds and championship greens (and maybe a little worse reaction time), I could only manage a 51.

  I missed two putts inside 7 feet, which isn't all that unusual for me, but I also missed five greens and couldn't get anywhere near the hole most of the time. Crosswind and upwind shots were coming up 10 or 15 yards short and I couldn't figure out why.

  Then on number 7, I think it was, I had a 30 mph tailwind and figured I'd land my ball at 175 and run it through the valley to the back tier. Unfortunately, my topspin 8-iron had other ideas: replay.aspx?ID=d2939b0d 7aef 42ab 8561 a404002ffc67

  Had a pretty good round of 43, I missed two putts that looked dead center on front 9 that would have given me 7 under to start. Then went 4 straight birdies on the back 9 with an ace on the 15th.

  Edit: Thought you were talking to me Dark... I actually pitched in on the first hole as well... Thanks mags... obviously doesn't mean squat, shooting 43 in this is much different from 46 with people watching and a quarter of a mil credits on the line :)

  2nd edit @ Dark: I can't get streaming to work yet in fullscreen and windowed is way too lagged...Typhoon said he is working on a solution for me so fingers crossed... Unfortunately this round was not recorded... :( some crazy shots happened too, along with some long putts. But I had some putts that should have been in too. Would have been amazing if it were recorded... damn

  Think I'll have a go with a freebie ball just for fun. Streaming shortly at the usual place...

  Finished with 45, and here's the vid. Putting was poor having just come from VF greens, so left 6 or 7 good chances out there, mostly low. 

  BUT, average distance from the pin on greens hit in reg was 12.21ft compared with 14.55ft in the VT final (where 3 more greens were also missed). This shows the value of a lower spinning ball in those high winds, even though I am not familiar with it and was just guessing the yardages.

  Nice round from AB, as expected.

  Dang it man - you are gonna make some of us look real bad like that.  And I for one need no help there.  Nice pitch in to start too by the way.

   

  Edit :Just to add insult to injury .....  this happened.  Probably payback for acing this one the other night.

   

  2nd edt: @AgentBrown - if you have a twitch channel would love to see that round too.  I just happened to get off work early tonight and first thing I looked at was Mags post - clicked over to it just as he was teeing off.

  ty sir ;), and btw, how can you tell I pitched in on the first hole? I only shows that I holed a shot from 9 yards from what I can see.

  Caught the back 9 - some very nice tee shots in there, and a couple putts I was sure were going that just didn't fall.  Nice round.
