A pixel is a point on your screen.  To the machine it is a location in memory.  This is not about a slow meter.  That is a butcher knife.  A more elegant cheat program would be a scalpel.  That is all I will say because most here obviously do not understand.

Live well and don't risk credits you cannot afford to lose.

It's the unfortunate side effect of online game play - certain assets are going to be fed to you, depending on the game that is, and contained within packets via network. In the case of this game damn near everything is.

There is one problem with CE - It's not like running macro's or something, it's not fast to use. Trying to use CE in a live game or timed round with a shot clock would be stupid and just wouldn't work.

As FD said you need to know what you're doing with it, it's not point and click. None of them work that way, either on Mac or PC they all work the same way.

Using in RG's is another matter entirely.

Either way another stellar moment in the history of WGT.com

GJ guys, I'll say this, when this place is gone and finished no one is ever going to have anything very nice to say about it in general - you'll go down in online gaming history along with other MP/online travesties like CounterStrike for instance… Sad but true.

Funny I stopped playing counter strike because of the cheating.

May as well stop here if it has come to that point

I know right? Remember those asshats with running LagSwitches? God that was soooo annoying! Along with every other idiot walling etc… Ya it was a disaster pretty fast that game.

This game is going south with the acceptance of cheating  , so I think my time is better spent on Call of duty , or even hearts of Iron.

I really see no reason in trying to play ready go's when I see this , and I was just warming up to those.

Do you want to make that official assumption? I'm not saying you're totally incorrect but, just for the record, I'm not going to conclude this is the absolute truth.

Sure, from what I know of it, it works exactly the same as one of the debugging tools we use, I work on Flash based applications and websites where there are Flash assets running. We use tools in the effort to harden those assets. CE like most things of this nature was created from something else.

I can't see how anyone in an AS game with the shot clock could really use it to effectively manipulate this game. Could be wrong.

Not going in for the techno arguments as beyond me anyway.

Anyone who has played with me though sees roughly my game I think, and it's pretty transparent how some days I do better than others.  Certainly see why I do not have the consistency of some, but on my day shoot well enough.  Now not being funny a couple here know every calc I have, and it's v easy to see exactly why given results are what they are (overall).

Now (just what I see) all you need to take this game apart, well often overall, is something that stops bad misses.  Now not saying have to be way wide so careful with that term, but safe to say wrong side misses are a world of hurt, and fine lines elsewhere.

Now correct me if I am wrong but even CE would do the above ? It's therefore easy to see how just about any one with a reasonable understanding of the game, and who can putt a little can rake in loads in RGs.  In fact it would be coming out of their ears loads, easy as..............Other more sophisticated cheats, as alluded to in this thread, I have no doubt also exist.

It would be interesting to see what the RG tables looked like if we had one magical week where they were not on a wild west frontier.  Dream on I guess:)

    PCFRASER:

    Good morning all.

I don't usually write posts of this nature often, or any posts for that matter but after reading the long, sad gauntlet of a post with references to cheating in the Virtual tour tournament I just wanted to say this.

I love this game and have enjoyed playing on WGT since 2009. I have had many ups and downs when it comes to this game and in real life. Spent many hyatis's away from the game due to work commitments, having to leave both the family and the game.

My scores go up and down more than any roller coaster I can think of, but that' all part of playing Golf, both on the real golf course and here at WGT.

I have played my entire 5 years without cheating, probably wouldn't know how to use a cheat engine anyway. I was never more proud of myself when I finally posted my first and I believe only 27 not so long ago, even posted the card here and on my wall. Had my share of 28's and several 29's, all of which I am very proud of. Managing to do this with no cheating, no tools i.e. rulers, calculators or even taking the time to map out courses or greens. Just to be clear, I am not calling anyone cheaters that use said tools, that is perfectly acceptable.

I guess my point to all this rambling nonsense is why.....I say again.....why would anyone bother cheating. What satisfaction does anyone attain from doing so. The credits cannot be used anywhere but here so....is it really the money. Or is it just to be the top dog every time?

Yes, I am naive I suppose. I just don't get it anymore.

    My apologies for the rant.

    Cheers.

Respect for your integrity and dedication. I feel exactly the same, especially after literally hundreds of hours in practice mode fine tuning meter skills and lighting countless balls on fire. Not to mention excel spreadsheets to calculate all wind angles/factors, dynamic elevation adj, various green speeds, the list goes on. It's tedious work at times, but also very fun and rewarding. I wish everyone would choose the path of challenge..

I was away from the game for well over a year until recent months. Playing the RG's a few years ago I don't recall cheating being a major issue or at least it was not prevalent enough to raise awareness. In the recent months back I've noticed some blatantly obvious accounts that are abusing the game. I'll just be direct as usual. Top of my most annoying list is DrShelby aka Cadavier. Besides stats and history telling a pretty obvious story of cheating this player clearly multi accounts as well. Without dropping names, other respectable players are aware of this as well. Lets clean out the few abusers and keep this great game straight up!

In general, there seems to be a lot of legit, talented, hard workers in this game. I hope the cheating gets taken care of as it's not that difficult to at least reasonably control.

All a nice example of one stepping on their own pecker....both the player and WGT.

Ya that guy is pretty funny... Can't believe he's still allowed to play, well obviously he's someone's buddy at WGT.

So just to be clear then....

Mutli accounting is not an issue then? Because if it is... you have a bit of a problem I'm afraid in explaining how that a-hole is allowed to play still.

Oh and I thought WGT had these conduct rules here? Have you read what he's posting?

lol most wgt players know this - what wgt is doing is actually supporting this behaviour by not shutting them down.

i see cadaviar is banned right now, but only for abusing my family, not for blatant cheating. however drshelby is still free to play and cheat. just remember which account ur on before making comments !

    Hi Jimbog

I am doing ok in RG's and I am not using any kind of cheat program. It is possible to be consistent without any cheating!

    Good evening PCFRASER,

I agree with your comments. I've heard it said somewhere that when you cheat your not playing golf here or in real life. So those who cheat must be playing something else.
