I would like to remain at the Tour Pro level instead of moving up to Master.  I prefer not to have to buy new clubs with faster meters to make it to the fairway from the tee box.  If keeping my avg around where it is (par or +1/2), no worries i can drop putts on the 9th/18th if i have to.  So, anyone knowing the formula for moving from Tour Pro to Master, please tell me what it is.

Perhaps its time to step out on "faith" Pastor? Remember? "faith without works is dead"

Ask 5 of the top 20 Tour Masters in the current month's standings. They seem to have "mastered" it.

Very interesting.  Wonder how the Lord feels about sandbagging?

The Lord?   I played him the other day on SA...guy is miraculous around the green with the short sticks.

He duffed a bunch on the last couple of holes.  I didn't understand why so I cried out "Lord, why hath thou sandbagged on sacred ground?"

His reply,  "My child, do you really think I want to get moved up to Legend tier and square off against ncviz, jakestanfill and bollox?"

Wow! there's a lot going on in this thread already. It's for sure getting locked I'm sure. lol!

ncviz, please keep in mind, not all Tour Masters come from the same mold. I'm working on becoming a Legend. I have nothing to gain or lose like those other Tour Masters you speak of.

Well Pastor, you are still a bit away from moving up to Mater.  I sit at 67.3 and am still a tour pro, so my guess is that there is more to it than simply an intentional shank.  What you speak of is called "Sandbagging" by the way, and is mildly frownd upon here...somewhat like the good lord would frown upon a little white lie.  At this point unless you are shooting rounds in the 32-34 range on a regular basis...you are safe for a while.

A simple solution you place top 3 in any ready go you move to Legend!

68.5 would've done it before the update - you propably need more ranked games.

"Mildly frowned upon" is an understatement - good players have long been throwing fits about sandbaggers cutting through them like a knife on butter.

And pastor there is one assumption you have made in all this - that you have the ability to make master tier.

Technically, it is "Sandbagging" in golf only when you present a higher average to gain an advantage in competition.  This is not the case here.  The OP does not compete in RGs or MPCs and only occasionally in a weekly free tournament.

Its unnecessary for you to be concerned about making Master.  The level 47/48 Rapture irons and woods will give you the distance required to play comfortably (but not competitively) from the next set of tees in the Master tier with the same meter speed you're playing at now.  You are currently at level 43 and at your rate of play you should be up to level 47 in a few days or a week or so.
