Not something that is coming back most likely. Good advice above on the Big Bertha.

Well - L92 here and likely a year to year and one half before I get to L96. Shoe, could you tell me the philosophy when dealing with the Low level 90s players and the "dead zone" of equipment we have to face? Just curious as to why competitiveness or "quality" of clubs is level based instead of tier based. I am sure this has been hacked out in the forums before, but I had or have not seen why wgt would not wanting players to upgrade their equipment sooner rather than later?
For instance, I would love to play some of the Par 5 RGs, but without the big sticks the lower level 90 players are at a bit of a disadvantage - not a huge one - but perhaps a stroke or two here and there.

Are we too good for the SLDR now?
If you think the 3-5 yard base distance is the reason why you can't hang with legends, you're gravely mistaken. My MP percentage against other legends is great (especially when you consider that I was sub-500 as a master and tour master), and the balls I use cost 1/10 of what most legends use these days.
Skill easily closes the gap - even for guys like me who routinely give up 25-30 yards off the tee to people using high level XIs and RZNs.
Dearest Michael:
I can see why people are hesitant to post in the wgt forums - lol. I asked a polite question of Shoe on their philosophy of level based equipment availability. Did not say I was too good for the SLDR. I got the L83 Xhot at L83 and in my opinion upgrading to the SLDR is not worth the credits.
I also never said I could not compete with legends - I have a decent MP record against legends and decent stats over all.
However, in RGs, as you are well aware I would hope - 1 or 2 strokes over the course of 18 holes can mean the difference between losing money, breaking even or doubling your money - it is as simple as that and any reasonable player would understand that.
So, if you are telling me that a 287 driver and L97 nikes don't give me a slight advantage (perhaps 1-3 strokes per 18 holes) than the R11s and my cally xhot and/or sldr you don't understand this game very well.
Head to head MP against legends is one thing, but every stroke appears to count very significantly in RGs. All I am curious to know from WGT is why they would not want low 90 level guys buying more equipment.
I don't play a ton - at my rate to go from L92 - L96 is well over a year if not 1.5 years. I would ASSUME and I say that lightly that wgt loses players from L92 - L96 just because of lack of equipment upgrades. I would love to be involved or be the fly on the wall I mean for some of the wgt strategy sessions lol.
