friends list issue

  Anyone else have this issue?  For the last 2 weeks or so..all of my friends who accepted my invites..show up on profile page but not on friend list on left side of screen....Bug???

  Keep losing friends off my list everytime i log on an off,any help out there,....wtf

  Hi

  There could be several issues:

  1. Maybe you adding people but they are removing you. Can you double check on their end?

  2. Is your tab on friends or invites? I have done that a few times and it made me wonde rwhere did every one go!

  I just double checked the last 5 friends that accepted me.   I am on all of their lists.  Yes,  friend tab is on, as i can see 24 older friends either busy or available..yet the last 20 -30 newest friends are not on list on left.  Any solutions for that?

  Thx for the response...but I think I figured it out.  I purged my friend list of players I've not seen or played in a long time...went from 327 friends to 254...now everyone shows in friends list box...must be a limit I assume.....All is well now, as I know I gotta purge list every now and then.  Thx again.

  Some info that may, or may not be pertinent:

  My 27 newest friends are on my profile page (pics), but not in my friends list. The problem seems to have started on Wednesday, 10/20/2010. None of my friends made after 10/19/2010 are shown in the Friends List.

  I currently have a total of 282 friends, but my "View All" page shows that I have 289 because of "doubles". I don't know how these happened, but I haven't deleted the duplicates for fear of losing the originals, as well.

  When I signed-in about 1/2hr ago, oddly, my friends list showed "0" friends and no names were listed. After refreshing the page, all but my last 27 were then shown. 15 of the 282(assuming all 282 are listed) are currently either Available or Busy.

  I've never heard about any "limits" as to how many friends one could have displayed in their friends list.

  Is it a coincidence that 282 - 27 = 255? And only 255 were showing?

  255 in hex code = FF an 8 bit field

  256 in hex = 100 a 9 bit field

  Heh! Beats me Andy!

  Just wondering if there's any follow-up explanation or a cure in the works for this ... ?

  A "friend list limit", for example, would probably be a "known" amongst the programmers, I would think.
