Tad (Bulfrog) and I were able to squeeze our match in today. Both of us feeling a bit strange playing Cabo from the normal tees after the luxury we had in the 1k Ready-Go. Tad came out blazing going bird, bird, bird, eagle, bird to take a 2 up lead...#2 & #3 were near eagles as well. Unfortunately, he had coworkers interrupt his rhythm and his pars on #6, #7 allowed me to get it back to AS. At 9 Cabo's greens bit him. After stick an approach from around 200 to 3.9 ft he hit it straight...ding...horseshoe. A terrible break, AS thru 9.
I was able to pull one out of my rear on #10. After being about 7 pixels late, I was 22 ft away, long right. Somehow got the line right and drained the 12 inch downhill bender. From that point on most holes were halved with birds until 17. I was able to sneak the approach to 4 ft. Tad hit a respectable shot, was just hair late leaving him only 10-12 ft away pin high. However, that green is nasty over there and he just missed a bit high side. I was able to make mine and take the match 2 & 1. Thanks for the great match Tad. Who knows if your coworkers didn't love you so much it might have gone the other way.
