  finished up 1st round way BB earlier, was a really good game and was nip n tuck the whole way...we both were pretty steady throughout with BB winning a couple of holes with eagles...i managed to get to 17 still in contention and my bird there brought it back to all square

  after BB's short approach on #1 in the extra's i thought i was in!! nope, from 120 yards I had the most cruel meter spike, and ended up 44 yards right of pin in the thick stuff and that was that...Sam rolled in lovely putt up the hill

  cruel way to finish but still enjoyed..cheers and GL as you go on

  Just finished match with suncity28. He missed a couple of putts early on but the longer the match went on the better he played and i was hanging on a bit by the end of 18. Never more than 1 hole in it.

  Into extra holes and anthony left a slider on the 3rd extra(3rd at kiawah- yep that one) which slipped by and i could close out the match but it really could have gone either way. Enjoyed the game m8 thank you

  Was a real tight match w/ stevenharkin,  very poor fortune for him to have a meter issue in extra holes.   Sure we will have more close matches in the future!

  just finished first round match with steve, and after some early yips by me, steve took an early lead, but he just kept burning edges with chips and putts and I was able to get some to fall...got lucky with a chip-in birdie and eagle on the back to get back and get a lead. a skype call intruded a short birdie putt for steve which would have got it back to 1 up but he lipped that one too. I eventually got closed him with a birdie on 15, winning 4 up

  thanks for the game steve, my second time playing, his first, and I look forward to more from us both..cheers

  Well, WGT has struck again. 

  The match between BartMania and Chrisironsbones was going along in a very competitive manner.  Chris took an early 2 up lead after 4 holes.  His birdie making ability was definitely present and my putter was ice cold early.  But I battled back to square the match at the turn.

  On the back 9, birdies were falling much more frequently.  After nailing several tight approach shots, I managed a 2 up lead with 3 holes to go.  Unfortunately, that's where the match would end.  Chris had some connection difficulty and he ended up being DQ-ed because of too many disconnects.

  He and I chatted some later, and he explained the situation.  I offered to get our match back to the same point that we were at by conceding holes to each other back and forth....but he just told me good game and wished me luck in future matches.

  Chris, anytime you want a match in the future, just say the word.  I really enjoyed it and hate that the game ended the way it did.

  Yes, its only now i'm able to get back to WGT and site seems stable (2 hours later!).  I thought it was the new flash update i installed before playing that was corrupt because everything that needed flash on wgt was not working, but it was perfect untill #15. Even sending messages to bartmania to let him know the situation was not happening, the only option i had on his profile was add friend, when he's allready my friend!.

  WGT sent me a message in reply to my e-mail & screenshots  because i've never had the site itself act so unstable and strange, adverts instead of friend lists and other weirdness.  They thought it could be heave traffic through my isp or a blip with the servers and if isn't better they will ping my ip address.

   Any way, enough of the problems i had and congratulations Bartmania, as first 15 holes were fine, and was a good game & both of us pretty tight so it was dissapointing for match to end the way it did.  a pityful end to a good round of golf.  Anyway good luck for next round, and will be back for hustle 11definitely. Bartmania wins 2up & disqualification.

  Aust and I were able to get our match in late this afternoon with Frog advancing 3&2 tight match most of the way but a few bad breaks for Aust allowed me to prevail.

  Bulfrog2004 prevailed in our match where he had some gr8 approach shots and continued it throughout the 18 holes while my putting saved me early on and had some bad luk on the back 9. 

  Well done to Bulfrog2004 and gl next game.
