Other than a few glitches.....  and perhaps some un-even CC match ups....   think maybe WGT is headed in a much more positive direction.......   Kudo's for trying....

Still think having that single putter as a grand prize  needs to be eliminated......  much better rewarding  balls............

Our club the GC Deutschland is currently the #5 on the Leaderboard. We got matched against anything from a one man country club that did not even bother to play a single round against us to the The WGT Amigos a similar sized but even more active club than we and #1 on the clash Leaderboard.

With the design of this clash,  it's irrelevant who your matched up against.  To win, your club simply has to be BALLS TO the WALLS for 24 to 36 hrs !   I do however give props to wgt for continually trying new stuff !!

Fair play for trying to improve the format. But you seriously need to think of something different. When you see tournaments like the UEL Ryder Cup and the CC grand prix, that have been superbly organised and well supported. It's more like the monkey running the show, instead of the organ grinder.

We played one clash each in Brandon, Kiawah and Pinehurst and 7x Merion.I have big trouble getting points in Merion. So this is a huge disatvantage. Is the mix the same for every one? I doubt it.

28 clash rounds I have played

    • Pinehurst         7
    • Bandon            9
    • Merion              6
    • Kiawah             6

My favourite definitely is Pinehurst and Bandon I detest slightly more than Kiawah.

    Total ppersonal points 2965

    Total club points            8213

    Current position            117 th

Percentage of member participation 8 out of 43 = 19%

Personal cost                 64 credits for 1 sleeve of G12-S balls, and a blister on

                                              my right  forefinger

What will we as a club get -   CC Passes X 2  Speed Boost Plus X 1

As u all know I am never one to complain, but prixes that don't amount to more than 150 credits is pitiful.

I would be happy to put all this effort in again, which I won't unless things change for the better, if I were to win summat like a WGT Stand Bag Plus, or even a Notebook.

All over. Won all 11 of ours but only 2 opponents put up a fight.

I was called apathetic because I will not participate in these asinine events, obviously there are a lot of players in my boat.

I have decided I will never take part in another event (in fact the only one I did was the very first edition) and if this upset my fellow club mates, I would simply leave. That said participation at our club was low, apart from one member.

As 1i pointed out the prizes are still nothing short of embarrasing but for me the event is still primarily about how many members grind out rounds. Minor improvements on scoring but still large clubs vs small clubs but overall it is about playing as much as you can (asuuming premium balls are used - the greater the revenue).

I have seen a number of my friends leave this game in the last 6 months or so, mainly due to bugs, instability and the apparent greed of WGT. I am not sure how long I will stay but every new addition WGT add is purely about raising revenue, but they fail to fix things that have been broken for yonks, a lack of development in courses (full courses) I feel there is not much to stay for now.

So to Chad - congratulations for your vision for creating a great game. It is a pity the development team or muppets currentlyrunning the game just flushed all the good work of the early years down the gurgler.

Edit - if WGT want to improve CC's rather than solely concentrating on the bottom line they would be well advised to look at thesesuggestions
