  Sad to see we still get half as many xp points as in a CC tournament.

  A few tweaks to the same fundamentally flawed idea will not entice me to play in this event.

  Is it just me who thinks the new tees are a bit gruesome?

  Neither of these, and forget about the Golden Calf - ehm - Putter unless your members have credits to squander.

  To me, it's an event for a joint action with my CC members. I preach them NOT to pay for passes, and the new 4-hours rule enables us to join each clash. This way we are clearly off the hunt for the top, and all I want is a spot in the final leaderboard from # 26 down. No silly hearts or gnomes or whatever for me!

  This way, it's unexpensive fun!

  OMG  Paul, I'm hoping you doctored that tee marker picture up, because if that's WGT's idea of a heart tee marker maybe they should consider making a large contribution to an Organ Donor organization, instead of leaving those things on the bare ground to rot. :-)

    I don't play in these things, so I was picturing something more Valentines Day appropriate.

  The red heart tee markers are just dreadful, the worst so far.

  My CC has been matched up against a club of 5 members, so I will win the clash singlehandedly as no one else wishes to participate.

  It is Pinehurst front nine and I am shooting 4 unders each round with superpasses and starter balls.

  It's a romp    544 - 0 wiv 37 minnys to go,

  Yes, last year, a few of us got stuck in, and in all 4 Events, we were always Top 15.

  A few of us.......

  I even bought Passes for the last one, and the repetition, playing over and over and over again and again.....

  I'M NOT KEEN.

  Why ?

  Simple.

  It's a false "prestige", a false "title", not forgetting a VERY QUICK MONEY MAKING EXERCISE FOR THE OWNERS OF THIS PLACE !

  I spent HOURS on the main WGT Forum, reading the blatant disgust, @ this "venture". I agree with them.

  It's mindless.

  It's same-old same-old expensive practice.

  Naaaaa. Not for me.

  Hence, therefore, the reason why we decided to start playing REAL CC Vs. CC Comps this year. Possibly a little rushed/fast, so far, so what, we're in, we're WINNING, never mind the fact that it IS FAR MORE INTERESTING, CHALLENGING...... Etc.

  Hahahaha!  Well done.  On a side note:  5th CC Clash?  My gawd, some of our fellow site members are just dolts.  I can't believe we've had 5 of these things!

  Disappointed is an understatement. This being my first  " Clash " I was expecting something. Money maker from what I see. Have to buy passes to play rounds other than your first? Bah!

  Matching CC's with similar abilities? There are 40 in my CC. The CC we have been matched up with has 6. The highest level player they have is a PRO and no one has played a round there since OCT of LAST YEAR!
