I'd play Pinehurst before Bandon anything Courteney!! But I'd still like to know why we're stuck just playing those 2 courses over and over again. You'd think because this is an event WGT would mix it up a little more. I'm still waiting to hear an official reason!!

    I have a suggestion.

Don't know if it has been made yet, but from reading the posts it seems that not too many people like the incentives and thus don't play.

How about if everyone who participates gets a sleeve of the balls that they used (predominantly) in the clash.  Thus if the use Cally's most of the time, and Nike's for just one round, they get the Cally's and not the Nike's. Also, there should be a minimum (say 10%) amount of points that they earned for the CC.  That will prevent a player from playing just one round to get the balls.

Sorry to say, this would be against the spirit of the game.

The spirit is, the company gets revenue from all the balls and CC passes used, and we, the players, get nothing of any use, from Speed boosts to the Golden Calf. Prizeless!

Thus, anybody playing the clashes for any reward, Clash points or XPs, is looking to the wrong side.

Now they have created a tad more motivation with modified rules, giving us CC passes for every clash, nice move indeed, but we reward them by using more ball life, for me about 25 cr per round. Thus, concerning me, the rebate is only 12 cr per game, 37 - 25 cr.

My personal spirit and reward is to enjoy the games, to act in unison with my members for a weekend, regardless of wins or losses, regardless of points, XPs and ridiculous "prizes".

    It's fun - carry on!

    Correct!

The Hold-your-Tongue tribe from Bay Area doesn't give any "official reasons".

If you want this to be popular WGT, then you have to sort some things. Like where we keep getting the same course and keep getting the same opposing team. Also a complete rethink of the prizes. You're welcome.

Is your club consistently getting matched against other relatively active teams?

We've had 3 small and 3 large. Only one seemed to want to try to win.
