Seriously? Its up to state representatives? That's really interesting that they decide, vs WGT deciding. How did it come to that? Or are we thinking of 2 different kinds of people, only 1 of which i am familiar with.... ;)
Most states that don't allow online skill based gaming are states with either a lottery or horse racing or some other form of legal gambling and they think that the online gaming cuts into the states' revenue. At least that is my opinion. The lobbyists for the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders inc and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association Inc as I understand it have been trying for years to get Kentucky's legislature to ban it as well but so far they have not convinced them to do so. At least that is what i have heard.
