Jimbog1964: I prefer to go with what feels right, and don't go nuts on those charts.
Same here, but after a season like I had last year, I started looking further into my equipment. Was really really really looking for a reason to blame it on clubs and not me. LOL
After hitting some irons at the local golf store into their hitting nets, the irons that were more upright did actually feel much better than the standard off the rack ones for me.
Could be my swing has changed thanks to my back issues getting worse. Hoping/thinking the upright lie may help turf interaction with my irons. My old irons were showing most of the contact out toward the toe. Instead of working on the swing and learning something all over again, maybe the lie adjustment will do the trick and I can just swing away as is.
If not, there's always the beer cart. ;-)
