What does it take to provide an unplayable lie? In real golf, you can know that a shot is unrecoverable and the rules allow you to take a drop. Here you are just stuck and have to take a "maximum strokes allowed" on the hole and can ruin a round because the programmers cannot seem to give us a clickable button to allow us to take the penalty and drop.
Come on, WGT!
The silence is deafening. Even a mulligan plus one stroke penalty would be preferable to the current knowledge that you are in jail with no way out, being in the middle of a bush in a sand trap for instance.
I have had to forfeit from many games because of this glitch. Very unfortunate-especially out of bunkers on St. Andrews.
hi
unplayable usually means lost ball but there are some courses/spots where lie is mostly unplayable... usually involves hitting backwards to get out.
there is no change planned for such as afaik but I would be curious to see exact spots with such issue + bugreport + replay of the issue

The craziest is on uneven lies Kiawah 17. If you put the tee shot in the water it gives you an unplayable drop.
How about a shot back to the teeing area? You're guaranteed to hit it onto your tee peg then ;)
I tried backwards, sideways, punch, full, topspin, 56 wedge, 60, wedge, 64 wedge, everything but a chainsaw.
...and a mower, I assume.
Sorry to hear, I ddn't know that it's so severe.

if this happens, can you send a bug report within a game and post reply on my wall? thank you :)
WGTicon:if this happens,
I'd like to see your replay of a saving shot, uneven lies. If impossible, it should be neutralized by the company.
