  I think it was around the time Bandon Dunes came on that the issue started.   I thought it had been fixed after the last maintenance update. I had previously posted about it.  However, yesterday ...

  I was unable to receive an invite to an Alt shot game irrespective of which of the other 3 players sent it.   And when I tried to set the game up and invite them, they didn't receive the invite.    We tried changing course.  I think we all rebooted more than once, did all the clearing etc. etc.   We even tried a challenge skins game ... all to no avail.   

  It was resolved when one of the players invited me to a matchplay game & bingo the invite arrived.  So we cancelled that & tried the Alt Shot game format and it worked.    This was all over a period of about 20 minutes.

  Had we not been on skype, we would not have known that it was an issue because one would assume that the other player is not around, not interested in playing etc.   so it's quite a difficult issue to identify and I guess address.

  Seems like its been an issues since the last major update, but has been getting much worse. 3 get the invite and the fourth hangs everything up. the invited 2 will not see a new player accept and still show the original spinning. Everything has to be restarted. 

  Now we are just at invites not being seen at all. Sometimes if another person in the group tries they can get the match going.

  We are right now trying to get an alt match going between CC members. All 4 of us have tried to start the match and non have yet to see an invite come through.

  Having major issues gentlemen from WGT management with Alternate player invitations and disconnects for the past few weeks (4). Please don't feed us the same line as: The issue does not lie with our system. major problems from around the globe say other wise. Fix the issues with the game!!

  If the WGT owners had any idea on how much revenue is being lost to this invite glitch, someone would be working overtime to get it resolved.

  Trying to set up game., players are not receiving invite.

   

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Even though I'm setting up the game, I'm not even listed as one of the players ...lol
  
  Seems like the server/software that deals with associating players with multi games is pretty broken, or dropping players / invites when it gets overworked without reporting that to you  ?

  I have an idea that I expressed to Shoe.

  WGT finds a few real world of WGT members. Have WGT programming engineers work with them and trace what happens when say I send an invite to the three others and what happens when each of the others tries to send the invite. 

  Or heck have one of your engineers just friend someone outside of WGT offices and have one of us invite them.

  I will gladly try to help in WGT fixing it -  replication when the server is in the next room may not be the same as replicating in the real world.

  I second this notion....I would be happy to help if it really helps. So far, everything in this thread I've read, is happening to me as well.

  We play an alt shot every Sunday night. One player gets the invite the other two do not. We tried all different players sending the invite and get same result every time.
