Just wanted to post and update. We are still tracking down the exact specific of this situation so that it does not occur in the future. There has been a decrease in players reporting the problem via the bug report tool and we have received fewer emails at Support.
The issue may have been due to players being stuck on one server but we are not positive. I just wanted to let you know that we are making progress and really appreciate your patience. We know it is not the best experience.

It is my opinion that most of the players here are fair and understanding people. They will accept occasional glitches as the game expands and improves.
What is most frustrating is when they feel their concerns/issues are not being heard or taken seriously.
When it comes to interaction/connectivity issues "I can't receive/invite friends" or "RG games are kicking me and I can't play" need to addressed promptly and directly in the forums.
Keeping your player base constantly informed with the status (correction) of these interaction/connectivity issues will ease the frustration with these matters.
Your update was much needed and greatly appreciated.
