For over a month me and my friend have been having this problem. It has
become so bad that we have been unable to play any games at all for
over three days. If the problem can't be resolved, maybe you can place
an "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" icon over the multi-player and invite buttons.
At least then we can see if this issue is resolved without having to
keep trying to play on a daily basis. Getting tired of coming back to a
"BROKEN" game every day.

Now I'll try to help how many I can do it.
The only one trick I can think to solve our trouble (= issues on invites) is the trick followed by me and my friends, this is: someone of us creates the race and thereafter (only if you are equipped with a direct-voice sw like teamspeak, dolbyaxon, magento and so on) he/her says to other what race has created, so that other FIND exactly this race. Maybe will be needed try more than one attempt, but this trick works every time (and it remains the only one which works).
I.e.: You create an alternate in Olympic back9. Being in direct-voice contact with your friends, you'll say to other to find: "alternate" + Olympic + back9. Optionals: filter tier and filter time - if you settled with filters, but better not).
Hoping have been useful for you, I remember that I posted a "complaint", it's true, but I published it with the hope to move WGT management to modify its own "commercial line" towards an higher respect of our expectations and needs.
