    andyson:

I'm experiencing EXTREMELY slow loading of the main site and the forum after the update.  45 secs to a minute to load a page.  This is after I cleared both caches and restarted FireFox after seeing the update notice.

Both Ping and tracert to wgt.com timed out.

***Edit***  The forum loading seems to have been sorted and is back to normal loading.

The game client window seems to load OK.   I also see the ding line offset to the left as reported above.

Andy try www.wgt.com, that will ping.  Unlike both yahoo or google, you can ping both.  Each has its own different IP address.  Even when pinging the www, you will get low 80 ms times.  Google or Yahoo, will both ping high teens.

Yeah, the ding and the corresponding line do not match while putting.

amazing,  even with the broken Ding,,and stuttery meter (based on what i saw), ,   the best player,,  on the morning twitch feed, shot his regular 27 on merion ..  he is too good.. !!

but on the other hand, in another twitch this morning at congressional 400cr RG,  someone WD, after 2 missed 3ft putts,..

so WGT, get on it,..  its a crazzy troll, some of your technicians are trying to pull off..lol

They increased the size of the putter meter to match the size of the shot meter. Putter meter used to be a few pixels shorter. This pushes the putter ding line to the right.

My ding line works fine. I suspect for some of you, the game client still displays the old meter image, which could explain the offset. Clearing cache may help.

    Tgkomv:

The putting swing meter has been altered for some reason. And after the last update I'm getting some massive stuttering on both the normal swing meter and the putting swing meter. There's no way I can hit the ding, whether they moved it left or right. Hope that gets fixed.

same here...top of the line computer & connection and have never had these problems

Yes, the meter is very stuttery on all shots. Just about playable if you try and mentally block the stutters out and focus on rhythm instead. The putting meter only seems to be affected, with the ding coming about 3mm (on my screen) after the line. Again, this is playable if you read the greens for a ding putt, then try and hit every putt a little late. Much harder for miss-ding putting though. Early is now the ding line, late is now MILES late - hard to get your head around.

I did clear both my caches before playing and the ding line shown is not where we get a ding.  There is an invisible ding point as Fmags said, about 3mm to the right of the shown ding line.

They must have received millions of e-mails requesting a change to the most basic of items in the game.

Did ANY QA person test this release by trying to putt??

Not only did wgt move the ding line but they made it smaller. That is crazy. The ding line should be larger not smaller.

    Please fix the ding line.
