    fmagnets:

Yes, the meter is very stuttery on all shots. Just about playable if you try and mentally block the stutters out and focus on rhythm instead. The putting meter only seems to be affected, with the ding coming about 3mm (on my screen) after the line. Again, this is playable if you read the greens for a ding putt, then try and hit every putt a little late. Much harder for miss-ding putting though. Early is now the ding line, late is now MILES late - hard to get your head around.

saved a game before updates and finished it just minutes ago hole 8 i was at 24 and finished at 57 meter issues on all clubs but putting was a different story missed several short putts that could be done with my eyes closed. it took me a couple of holes to figure out what was going on with the ding line. this issue will carry more weight with top players complaining about these issues. it just makes it hard to putt and if late you swing late its like wow!!!!

Its almost like WGT is Dos attacking their own servers with simple auto clean ups

Competitions ending and result notifications are at an almighty high now, 6 pages I seen at least pertaining to Fmagnets winning a competition in our cc alone, multiply this for every other result, every other player and every single cc ....

My guess being, the competition ending, server runs clean up and the posting of results is where the coding fk up is.

When is a ding not a ding?

I was hitting the ding, heard the 'ding', got the 'excellent' but the strike ended up 1/8 inch past the mark.

Quit diddling with the game already.

    mkrizan86:

Is it just my PC that's screwed up? When putting, the actual ding line isn't where it's show, but actually a few pixels to the right. Every time I hit the ding, there was no notification. I only received the "excellent shot" note (and heard the ding) when I missed a hair late. I also lipped out on the left side of the hole a few times before I adjusted. Is it my PC? Or does anyone else see the same?

This only happens when I putt, the ding seems as usual on other shots.

The putting ding line has always been a wee bit right of the ding for other shots - I noted this 3 or 4 years ago, in a post in regards to my own hand-drawn paper scale, below. The full-power (left) limit of the putter scale is likewise off-set a few mm to the right.

That notch in the upper right corner of my paper scale is the off-set between putter power scale/ding line and the scale for the rest of the clubs in your bag. The yellow card serves 2 purposes for me: a) green speed reminder; b) a sort of visual 'warning-track' that I use when making a shot. If I'm hitting an off-ding shot to combat crosswinds, or when playing uneven lies, I can slide that yellowcard so that the right edge lines up with my desired 'trigger point'.

Not only have I noticed the ding line is messed up, the meter is jittery on every shot. I have had a perfect meter for over 3 years until this update. Yes I have spent all my cache and eat all my cookies several times. Also use six different browsers.

Every browser I have ran has the same problems with the meter, its  a stuttering fn mess. The putter line is off, and if your a ding putter that's a problem..think I will take a day off till WGT while they take my money wont give me a game worth playing right now..i have not had meter problems either like Lonnie, so this is a joke......and I just bought golf balls like an idiot lmao...

Thanks everyone, we have our testing team on it right now trying to chase down the root cause of the ding line.  One thin they have mentioned is it appears to be a display issue with some of the assets and not a issue with the actual swing meter.

What was smooth...isn't.  What was a ding....isn't (kind of).  In the midst of a Nike iron rental period and this doesn't help matters.  Really.
