Bad memory, I look at the food stains on my clothes so I know what I need to replace in the pantry, Duh!

Now that has to be one of the finest wiseass responses I have heard in a while. Kudos.

Sometimes the issues are frustrating I know, but sometimes we need to remember that people are involved in the process. I have been on here for a little over a year and while there have been issues for sure, if you treat people the way you would want to be treated, things might be a little better for all.

I read these forums often and marvel at how everything is picked apart by the same people on a daily basis. If it is that bad, why do you play the game. I know, so you can wake up, turn on your computer, and see how quick you can find an error or something is still not fixed. Hopefully, some of you who scream the most are perfect in your jobs in the past as well as now if you are working. It would be safe to say that the majority of people in these forums are the first ones to complain when THEIR work is questioned. Just something to think about as you lay in to people who have a job trying to keep the game running and functioning properly. The morale of these people cannot be good if they take all the negative comments to heart for sure.

I try hard to not judge to quickly as far as an individual may or may not do something.  However the majority of the complaints i have seen come up concerning WGT are the same ones i saw in 2009.  My ability to withold judgement in many of these cases is extremely difficult.  The main reason for this is,  WGT is a business but they tend to run (?) it like a second hobby.  If you portend to be a professional, then your customers expect you to be so.

Turning a blind eye to unprofessionalizem is the same as being mute while your money is being taken under false circumstances.

I appreciate that those persons who get it done/or not, are human and they are subject to being imperfect, BUT if that is the case then man up, admit your failings, promise to do better, refund or make other  reasonable compensation to those members you have done damage to.  Run your business better, listen to the complaints, issue answers to the older complaints, EXP:  Driving range, not possible in the near future, because (state believable reason) If complaints are unreasonable tell the complainers, and why they are unreasonable.

None of these actions are required and can surly be ignored, but to me and many others who have been here a long time it is a necessary step in a good direction.  my nickle.

ps:   WGT is still the best game of golf available over the internet.

@bbqdog61 for the above, and @ mkg335 for your:

"That's a nice sentiment, but a couple of things come to mind; first, this is a business that courts paying customers, and those customers have a right to expect what they pay for to function properly.  Second, I didn't hear anyone screaming.

In this case, an update caused a problem, customers complained, and the company acted more promptly than usual to fix the problem...I just wanted to thank them for that and express the hope that the same prompt attention is paid to other existing problems."

Both diplomatic and solid posts from you two. I've had my share of frustrations with this game, as have so many others, but just wanted to share my appreciation for what you two have posted. WGT is still a very good online golf experience, arguably the best one out there for all of us. I assume it's why we all come back day after day to play it. With all the bugs and hiccups, it's difficult for me to say that it does not mirror my real-life golf game in a lot of ways - some days your game is dialed, and some days they're not. My "meter" in real life can be way more jerky than it's been recently, but I carry on and shoot the best I can. Kudos to WGT for addressing the recent update issues.
