    Woodoworkery:

This conversation is over, we can play ping pong all day. I have no idea why you are so head strong over  this  place and can't see, what a lot of other people know, I just don't get it.

I didn't go back and catch up on the bickering here...these bickering threads at least mean people still care about WGT golf..........

    But............

It won't be long until WGT forces everyone in to the "I really don't give a $%it what goes on here any more" mood. I know I am in that category now.

I really have no motivation to reach TL or search for any new equipment or care about competing here like I used to and I am fairly certain a ton of others are the same now.

If it were not for the great club I belong too, ECGA, and I am sure other clubs fill the bill as well, WGT would have zero  likability  now. I am sure WGT will do its best to screw up the Country Clubs next.

    fatdan:

so now I move the aim arrow by sight and experience to the needed side and still hit a few pixels into the wind to eliminate misses with the wind completely and with much greater success...that's what works for me and it took a long time to figure it out, might not work for anyone else...you should try it.

In real life golf, you are taught that if your hitting a draw or a fade you should never let the ball land on the opposite side of the flag, if you do you missed the shot because when you hit a draw/fade it is usually to avoid trouble on the other side of the flag and you just hit into it or flirted with doing so...

This is how real pros think, they see the green, and then split it into two halves either vertically or horizontally, and make one or the other half there aim point. It provides much greater accuracy than just aiming for the pin.

There's probab;y some mathematical thinking in there somehow, which should keep Jim happy.

They already have Doc, invites messed arranged club comps up, no bank yet after months of waiting, courses with tired pin positions and not enough new courses.

You may think the last 2 mentioned have Jack to do with country clubs but they do, as it leads to inactivity due to boredom.

Your club does its best and is a great club, others are suffering as owners and admin have to do an awful lot to up the excitement.

Me, well i have given up for now, i am not in a club so therefore see no reason to play the boring WGT events. Clubs do a better job themselves, or some do.

You think this great game is all based on 2 circles, and you are content with that, and the ding means nothing and a number  determines how big or small that circle is.

No, I think this game is based on a model that takes simple numbers, plugs them into an equation and then renders the results. WGT adds the variables that make each shot unique, just like happens IRL. I totally get it and it makes sense to me. But then I understand how numbers work and accept what the VEM model produces. It always comes down to me and how I play the game, not WGT trying to soak me.

I know. You never have and never will. C'est la vie.
