    Yiannis1970:

    Update:

All of a sudden yesterday, dots on Cong returned to to their turtle like speed. Don't know why. I am sure that the speed was quite acceptable in the last 3-4 days in most of the courses. If can i ask a favour from wgt would be the following:

Please do not touch anything again, obviously you have no idea how to rectify things, so stop ''trying''.

    Fixed.

I can say that the dots "issue" despite some arguing epistemological nonsense, is still present.

Was playing the transamerica virtual tour just now, front 9, all good, 8 under. The second nine, I am pretty sure I had a birdie putt on every hole, missed all but 3 for a finish of 11 under 59. Disappointing? Very! Why? The dots had like 4 speeds. Slow, super slow, then fast, then really fast. Which speed do I use? Some putts it was slow until the last few seconds before I putted, then sped up.

I thought: alright - clear browser data and flash. Made no difference. Maybe my Nvidia GTX970 is malfunctioning? Seriously.

I am going back to try again. If the dots decide to do 5 gear speed changes on me again all round I'm finished for the night... De do do do...  de da da da.... Is all I want to say to you... Good luck with the backspin bug as well.. another of the long list of wgt bugs that it seems wgt doesn't care to fix. Oh, but we have new clubs again! Screw Befriend your new clubs.. no offense, but why would I waste my money on a club that might (*might!) give me a few yards when I now have trouble with 3 and 4 footers...

    Thanks krskfr

Yes, cranky as I was, I spent a lot more time on putts, trying to figure out which of the speeds I should "trust".

So I'm a half a happy hitter at least.. or a hippie haphazard hitter.. I dunno.. I guess the good old wgt days are, well.. good and old :)

    Echoing the other posts.

Dots on the greens are changing speeds while we watch.  And WGT says "all is well"

They screwed them up and made them faster, then slowed them to a crawl, then said they were fixed and no more would be done to get them back to where they were.  AND NOW, they have the dots actually changing speeds right in front of our eyes, and still won't say they frigged up.

Ha ... reminds me of Yellowbeard throwing the tillerman overboard, and when the tillerman screams "ahhhhhhhh........... " Yellowbeard finishes up with " llll's we-ell .... "

    LOL.

    Same here.

Strangely you can mostly work around it, but it's not good enough either.

Their end all this or one amazing coincidence, and too amazing I would say.  I never had an issue with meter or dots before they played without a reset button.  All that changed was the dots, and seems as if they are doing what they can to fix, what was never broken for me, manually for want of a better term.

EDIT: Played a MP (scored) with a m8 later, and not a hint of it, all running perfect.  Beats me.........

Hello all,  there is still a dot speed problem. This morning i was at Oakmont Hole #1 right on the front edge of the green wheres theres a steep right to left putt , You guys know the one. Well i watched the dots and started counting the seconds on the dots. They were moving very fast to start, I counted off 7 seconds and dot speed changed to slow, counted another 7 seconds and went back to very fast, counted 1 second and changed to very slow, 1 sec again very fast, counted 12 sec and the dots nearly stopped. How can any WGT member putt on this, you can clearly see the dot speed changing. How can any WGT member play a Tournament with these green conditions, WGT this not acceptable when we are all paying to play. ITS BROKE SO FIX IT!!!!
