anyone know what the par will be, 70 or 71?

i seen online that the 1st and 18th will play as par 4's and 5's, two days each, q13fox.com are previewing a hole each week, the first will be a 501yd par 4 or 598yd par 5.

hopefully wgt make it a par 4 to start, it would be nice to finish with a par 5 or even better have to versions of chambers bay with the a par 4 start + par 5 finish and a par 5 start + par 4 finish, that should be so easy for wgt to do, for the first hole just move the avatar up 97yds, it would be like having 2 courses and would be great for CC's as you could set up a really good tournament with the two versions.

it looks like its going to be a tough course for the pros

If the past is any indication, you just know the hardest scenario will be the one the US Open goes with and that will follow here. Plan on tough.  :-)

According to Mike Davis, the executive director of the USGA, Chambers Bay will play as a par 70 all four days for the pros.

From what I've seen on their site, it could play as a 70, 71, or 72 ...

just noticed on the CTTH challenge that the 1st is a par 4 (written in the hole information) so we must be getting the 18th as a par 5, all i had to do was open my eyes lol

cant wait to play this on uneven, it should be a great course on uneven and should have a lot of course management due to the challenging fairways

WGT check out the latest preview video of the 9th hole (par 3) on q13fox.com, depending on the pin position you have to use a certain tee, if you have the pin in the left half of the green you use the new tee box at 217 yards instead of the back tee at 227 yards.

we dont want any mistakes like last year
