Good stuff...big fan of Billy Connolly for sure.

As for the Marx Bros, loved 'em since I was a kid...my dad turned me on to them along with the likes of Laurel & Hardy, Bob & Ray (great radio bits, google them) Jonathan Winters and too many others to count.

Also worth checking out for great standup:  Lord Buckley, Lenny Bruce, Bob Newhart

(might be throwing out names you already know, but others may not)

Only got into the Marx Bros the last 3 years or so, strange really as my dad and I watched Laurel n Hardy / Harold Lloyd / Buster Keaton etc together when I was growing up....

He didn't like them maybe ? Will be ringing him tomorrow as usual and ask...

Three great ones there...Lloyd is probably the most under-appreciated of the lot, truly amazing talent.

As far as Marx Bros, their best (to me) is Duck Soup, best and funniest anti-war film ever.

For (relatively) modern times Python takes the prize, absolute genius on display.

then remembered the adverts from way back

Ahh reminds me of Hamlet ads from way back - was going to put the Photo booth up but went for this one.

Funny as stuff here Andy, had a good laugh, and better jokes that the game play recently.

And ffs who would have thought....A telling someone how to get a video up!!!! :))

And by jove, I had forgotten about Victoria Wood - briliant....and still causing an outrage in Surrey...I hear them from here saying...TUT
