KAeichele: Hard to improve your scores when this constantly happens.
Actually it is hard (but not impossible) to improve scores using starters clubs - they are neither precise nor forgiving.
This game is pretty consistent but needs some variation to prevent it from being too easy and many players score very well, including players using starters clubs. The difference is they have probably leaned the game somewhat better.
As for your cited example, I cannot say but it is more likely that you misread the elevation or changed club accidentally.
Your record shows that you are a par 3 specialist (for want of a better term) so you are either avoiding tiering up, or you only like the monotony of one course.
If you want to improve your scores, you need to upgrade your equipment, learn all aspects of the game or STFU as the way it stands, you are clueless on how the game works.
