Well yeah, the Tiger Woods games have always had the reputation that it's too easy to excel in them, so what else is new? Wasn't one of the things everyone was praising WGT for the realistic scores achieved here (apart from that one absurd red-tees tournament)? The fact that you, Tibbets, barely having arrived at TWO, have already managed to get a round of 55 and a 380+yd drive there seems to speak volumes against the game, rather than for it.

You speak volumes against yourself Faterson.

I was more referring to my success in the tournaments where the winning score for 4 rounds is par or worse.  We don't seem to have that here at WGT...hmmm.

Apparently it's easy to shoot 55 anywhere...from the ladies tee.  Doesn't matter if it's this game or that one.  I see you conveniently use my 55 score as "proof" of TWO's shortcomings while disavowing the Ladies Tee tournament here in the International Open.  Very convenient.

Please can everyone stop? I've beginning to think it's about time this thread was locked so the argument (in public, at least) would stop!

I didn't read all of this, but for my money Links Champion Edition was heads and shoulders better than anything i've seen.  The elite mode was very challenging to say the least. Plus there was every course you could think of including Augusta...Pebble Beach...Spy Glass...Riveria....Firestone. You name it they had it.  My  2  cents. Plus it played good online.

lol.. look out rnegv, the Forum King is gonna have a field day with that one... =)

The topic at hand is the future, my friend, not the past.  They are comparing the NEW Tiger Woods Online to this WGT.

Nonsense. It's perfectly admissible to succinctly state one's position on the subject of any thread without bothering to read the foregoing posts in that thread. (Although one does run the danger of possibly duplicating something stated before by someone else.) What is not admissible is to pretend to debate another specific contributor in the same thread, without bothering to read that contributor's posts properly.

I will probably play both.  I've only played TW on console and always enjoyed them. I wouldn't disregard this one.  WGT and TW are each good in their own right so please don't ask me to pick just  one!  :)

I may not be as good at TW yet but I'm new to it and still in practice mode. I'll get there in time hehe.

Funny how people keep replying to this thread that has nothing to do with the topic....WGT VS TWO.

I played the 1st hole on Pebble Beach the other day, and it kicked my butt......I still haven't got my beta key to be able to really play, ( a few people have been kind to let me check it out, until I get my key hopefully)  Anyways, it seems like it could be fun, but when they get multiplayer, then it will be a lot funner!!!
