    Hi Alan

This is such a good post you have written. You just NAIL IT!!

    I agree 110 %.

It is absurd how the RG list looks at he moment!!        Not only did we get more TL RG's

but also some more UEL RG's.  I am not fun of UEL, so for now there is 26 RG's I don't

enter.  Great, when I love playing RG's....

    Peter

I count 38 rg's on my list so that leaves 12 that you do like.  As you say the tournaments you don't play are very unpopular those you do must renew very quickly and be available to you daily (at least).

I like playing UEL and the less expensive RG's in general so I do, I'don't play any that are over 200 credits or for TL's and I'm not very keen on the ones where you need about -7 (9 holes) to make the top ten.  This does not mean I think they should be removed as I know there are some who do enjoy playing them.

Guess what I'm saying is fair enough ask for more of the tournaments you want, although you don't seem to get round to doing that here, but is it necessary to do that by targeting ones others enjoy?

As I look 31 ready-go's have been filled today 14 are 50c, 13 are 100c, 1 is 200c, 2 are 400c and 1 is a 600c.   Or 87% of completed tournaments cost 100 credits or less to enter.  (Incidentally two are UEL).  Less credits for WGT from entry fees but balls are being used.

So clearly the inexpensive tournaments fill much faster but that's no reason you shouldn't have your 600c one at pinehurst.

I actually think there's quite a good mix of RG's available, ignoring the TL ones.

    I agree mate.

The point I was trying to make and others also is Unpopular RG's shouldn't be recycled and as you say the cheaper ones 50 to 200 credits turnover quickly.

Lessen the amount of T/L Games and it gives you room to add more Open RG's that will definitely turnover quickly and regularly.

Cheers and thanks for your input.

perhaps if we had one person who could keep track of ready-go's by spread sheet and also take suggestions via a dedicated forum thread, this person could be our go between to WGT and the confusion would certainly end?

    any thought ; volunteers?

    An excellent idea Turfsand.

Keeping my fingers crossed and wouldn't be adverse to sharing the load if this was possible.

I think the original post was part way there, and I notice that tournament 71587 still has only 23 entries.  Although I have neither the time or the ability to do this two thoughts occur.

Trace a block of (say 100) tournaments by number, record when they open and when they fill.

Trace the current list of ready-go's for a fixed time (maybe daily for a week, or until they go) recording how many enter each one. For instance under 15/03 would be something like.

TL Pinehurst 300c/0 entered, St A's F9 50c/253 entered. etc.

Problem is the first idea may take months and the latter is a massive undertaking.  One of the many problems is this would be ignoring tiered rg's not for TL's.

As these tournaments are all numbered surely WGT know, at least roughly, how long they take to fill.

I know you all tell us the same thing - rg's are not fun but what you don't tell us is what do you want to see.

it's easy to point out an issue but please point out a solution: we want you to have fun and enjoy them, so to quote tom cruise "help me, help you".

You have got to be kidding

do you not read these forums 100s of posts on what people want  you guys just ignore them

    hi

I have not seen 100's of posts,  and if there are so many then perhaps it should be in 1 thread with everyone else posting there and agreeing. I do not make these, but I send in forum requests, so more detailed/self contained they are the better.

please post on my wall and link me to the post with ideas thats 100's of people want and I will go through it again

    Good idea.

Yes it would definitely be time consuming...........but I will try and keep tabs on it over the next Month or so.

As to what effect it has I really can't say.....as people have to utilize the information that is presented.

    Cheers and adios.

It will take me a day or two, but I will search back through the Forums for you and will copy and paste 10 or 20 of the more relevant posts to your page or to a new Forum Page.

Either way I will do it Icon.

Believe me Icon, I am not telling stories or lying to you. This issue has been a thorn in the side of many regular RG participants.

    Cheers from Alan
