There were some stats a couple of years ago of members participating in the forums and as far as I remember only approx. 0.2 % of the members ever reach for the forums.
What I mean is that we are such little amount of people complaining here at the forums that WGT revenue will not be negatively affected....almost at all, if we, including the people we could reach stop using and buying balls not to say equipment too.
I go back to the point, we keep on playing on own own (this time) or random alternates, skins, etc because we cannot play together with our friends. WGT knows perfectly that the majority of the members are here because the great fun of playing together with your friends in any kind of multiplayer form...but once again, there is no other place to go and play good internet golf together with friends and this makes WGT lazy when trying to fix any bug, in this case the invite one, unfortunately for us.
WGT is damaging its reputation badly by not fixing the invite feature, but I do not believe many people are leaving the game because of that, at least not in figures that WGT would feel any pressure to hurry to fix rapidly.
How long customers will wait for the invite bug to be fixed?...that is a good question.
As for me, I am participating less & less in this game, I am not using money and I will not any longer, as a matter of fact I am searching everyday for a new hobby and I hope Ifind it soon.
