  What can i say... 'an epic match' doesnt do it justice...

  Fantastic game Coolswing/Plim v Nickolijj/Kam4122, superb golf throughout, and great spirit and sportsmanship.

  We took it 2&1 but with a 27 and a 28 both carded for the 9 it could really have gone either way, i must have been kinda heavy on Jared's shoulders for most of the round!

  Jared was closest to the hole on 11, think it was about 3 feet, but he took a screenshot so can verify.

  Thanks Dave and Vic for a superb match!

  well played Monty and Jared and Vic. was a pleasure to watch the great golf on show. just a pity i couldn't give my partner any backup. good luck in the next round guys.

  Thanks Monty & Jared for a fantastic match that was a lot of fun and a chance to witness one of the best round i've seen on here by Jared.  Good luck to you both in the remainder of the tourney.

  Thanks also to my good mate and partner Plim for the invitation to play in a great tourney that is well organized and a lot of fun.  

  Also thanks to everyone at the English Lakes CC for hosting the tourney, you guys are a great bunch of people and a class act and I hope you'll put on more of these tourneys in the near future.

  That really was a fantastic match. Vic played a terrific round which was very close to another 27 out of the group. Plim played much much better than his score indicates. It seemed like every approach was very well struck, but left him with a tricky putt that would just burn the edge. My partner was very close on several occasions as well, but couldn't get them to fall. However, he did birdie the difficult 17th when we needed it most to close out the match. I really enjoyed the match, couldn't ask for a better group of lads to play with.

  Just a reminder that all matches must be completed by end of day Sunday 30th.

  If you are having problems scheduling your match please let me know immediately.

  The quarter finals will start on Monday 31st Jan, if you do not play your match, you run the risk of being disqualified. We will have a last 8 come Monday!
