  Pralaya and columbiacgt vs westhamchris and macgillicuddy. Pralaya and columbiacgt win 1 up. Had a disconnection after the 2nd, so there are 2 cards.

  

  

  Was a great match, fun to play and chat, high tension. I holed a 45 footer on 2nd to go 1 up, went A.S. on 3rd, where we couldn't match MacGill's birdie, then on 5th miraculously with MacGills certain birdie, us 3 were in a desperate situation in that hideous depression just short of the green, steep downhill green with no space and a 16mph tailwind. After 2 good approaches to 20 feet past by chris and pralaya, my similar flop shot hit the stick and stopped dead, enough to match the birdie. On 6th we went 1 up when pralaya sinked from 9 feet and macGill missed from 6, then all birdies on 7, all pars on 8 with a short pin and 20+mph tailwind, and halved 9th with birdies to remain 1 up.

  Really close match that ended 1 up to spaniards. Was really fun that always when you play with Lou but he have a bad day. Vespa played really good and he has an oportunity to made eagle in hole 9 to tie matchj but............

  A little late (we had to be hospitalized in shock after the match),  pralaya and I would like to thank geordieles and especially iceats for the rather rough virtual golfing lesson they gave us. Besides the score, it was enjoyable, looking forward to a rematch, with hopefully a different ending. GL for the rest of the tourney.

  Just kidding Barry - you played your Heart out while I played with my D_ck out.

  I was the epitome of my favorite golf saying:

  • No matter how bad you are playing ---- You can always do worse

  Looks like the Spaniards are trying to pick up where the World Cup team left off.

  Beware to other teams --- when the 2 of them start chatting in Spanish (which they do) .... get ready for something special to happen.    Barry and I had no clue what they were going to throw at us.
