Icon, Admin, Shoe, Typhoon...Somebody Please Say Something!

    Can we at least hear from somebody about these issues and when we can expect them to be fixed???

    Do we need a punch list?

    1. Invite system

    2. Dots on Greens (was this fixed already?)

    3. AS Extra Holes issue 

    4. 

    What am I missing here, people?

    Dots definitely not fixed, but am seeing some really pretty colors recently!  Maybe another beer or 6 will fix it???

    Is is just me, or can you not just smell the VEM on the greens recently?  Note to self: just don't breath while on the green and especially when putting!

    Invites, what invites???  Getting to be a really irritating issue!

    Note to WGT!  Fix what is broken already before trying to introduce/fix anything else! Just makes sense to me, but then well???

    Oh and you might just want to try and fix that meter problem that you keep telling everyone i fixed!  Geeze, you got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Mine is jumping about like a rabbit trying to avoid a hunters gun shots and Elmer's definitely not winning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Go bunny go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What you are missing is that WGT personnel lack integrity. Even when they say they will take a look at an issue and get back to us, they don't. Perfect example is the Attention WGT thread where WGTadmin promised to look at a fraudulent survey issue and get back to us and has intentionally avoided doing so for almost 8 months now.

    A moderator like WGTTyphoon is simply a company cheerleader who only pops in here to try to give the appearance that an employee cares and has information but all we really hear is the worthless superfluous pap that the company wants him to spread.

    WGTIcon tries but again can only tow the company line since there is a three hour time zone difference between home an headquarters. Again, Icon's information is only what the company feeds and it's obvious from a recent reply to the ability to change equipment during games that Icon might claim to read threads but clearly doesn't understand them. Citing the One Ball condition as the reason and then not responding when it was pointed out that it doesn't apply to practice, low level competitions, etc. and  it was pointed multiple times in other threads before he posted is an example of such.

    Bottom line? Even if they do respond, don't expect the truth.

    2. We have made all the changes we will make already.  No additional changes going forward

    Thank you for the reply, Shoe. 

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it...maintenance/updates are performed on the Sunday evenings before or after the first of the month. (which ever one falls closest to the first) Am I to assume that we have to wait that long? Is there any indication from the engineers on this issue?...I think that's what everyone is wanting most right now...just some kind of idea about when a fix might be coming. 

    As for all the adverse comments about Icon, Typhoon and the rest...in the two years as Club Owner of Senior Citizens CC, I can personally say that while at times they have their mouths tied behind their backs whilst towing the corporate line, they have always been helpful and responsive no matter what the issue. They take a lot of flak in the forums from people who don't have the patience to wait for an answer, or who think they know more about fixing the issue than the actual engineers working on the game. My hat is tipped to them.

    WOW, so as far as WGT is concerned, even though it is still not right(far from the way it was), we will just have to deal with it and learn to putt by guessing on putts that have breaks, is that right? That their solution and they will just ram it it down our throats!!!

    You gotta be F'N kidding me!!!!

    hi

    no updates are usually done on Tuesday or Wednesday night. others are considered emergency and we can also do some of them on the fly. it will depend on the type of a fix when it can come.

    as for the other comments: if I misread something or forgot to follow up or clarify on an issue, please contact me privately and I will do so.

    You forgot (point 4) the issue with Trialpay... Broken since the 6 of march. You can complete some surveys (when you don't have the error page), but never receive your reward (see my post). Cost me a lot of time for nothing (instead of a BB driver). :/
