    fatdan:
All of a sudden ccleaner would show less than 2MB to delete from my pc after playing but the processor seemed to be working harder when I played...the games option settings were the same too and never had to be reset....

I don't know what that means other than far less WGT files are being stored on my PC, so where are they stored now?

This is another indication of an important change in the last update(?) which concerns the meter.

I noticed a less vulnerable meter while CPU load would seriously increase. But  the meter would run quite smooth with high CPU load, while it would run berserk in before. Now you add your observations concerning the storage

=> The game machine has been severely changed, apparently to the better.

so where are they stored now?

Shared objects, .sol files, and asset cache. I have my adobe settings manager set to 0 and 10.

Wise Jet Search is killer at finding and shredding these flash tracking, invasive cookies/files. Takes about 30 seconds and the are gone. Just type in assetcache, and click on the 1st thing that shows up (the top one), the click shred (if you can) or delete. Then type in macromedia, click on 1st thing again, click until you see Local Shared Objects, then shred or delete. Then click on the macromedia folder that's left (under shared objects folder in search box, you'll see it), then keep clicking until you .sol, and shred or delete that, too. That eliminates every trace from flash. You can do this while playing if you want.

I use ASC Pro and CCleaner Pro, and they don't go deep enough.

You can also use the search function on your computer, but Wise Jet Search is insanely fast.

Humm...u think this thread is out of control.........isn't that WGT is the one out of control?

Fix things before you make such bloody annoying comment.

    Eric

EDIT, you see Icon, I had the impression you were a cool guy because of your plans with the UEL stuff and the times we played together, but after seeing you later behaviour I see you are also one of the main parts of this WGT circus with its american capitalistic mentality where profit is the MAIN goal and not caring about giving a good service, I think you, together with WGT have no ethics. ( I'm sure I am not alone in this one)

You do not stand on the other side of the table and see things as customer....nope mate, you & WGT do not do that, PROFIT is what motivates you all.

How I wish it was a golf game you were competing with, a competitor that would make WGT missing it's stupid comfort zone laughing about customer complains and trying to make your loyal customers happy.

Be welcome to ban me.....for what I care.

    It's called venting! LOL

Imagine this, you answer a few questions in a timely manner then fix a few things and everyone would be playing instead of b!tching..LOL

It really is a good concept, you should try it....

Another thing that bothers me, I used to enjoy watching the "twitched" matches you and shoe used to play against top players, but you haven't played in almost 2 months, why is that?

Well said server, they serve the dollar and not the customer.

It was a quiet day at the stock exchange when WGT was launched, but when some joker shouted "FORE"....

                                                   ....the greedy pigs went crazy!

WGT is already introducing Pebble Beach this year. It will be needed for the Virtual PGA Tour in 2019. So WGT is planning ahead a few years.

Adobe Flash on Windows Computers will stay available for at least several more years. But it may become unakzeptable for anyone but die hard WGT golf fans much earlier due to security concerns and too high power needs on mobile computers. So WGT might have a problem with getting new players if they rely on the flash version too long. A prospective new player will likely not have flash installed on his computer in a few years and might not want to install it just to try out the WGT game.

So I am almost sure that the WGT developers are very busy with porting a flash alternative to the PC right now. And adding the parts to it that are still missing or working differently in the mobile versions if you compare it to the web client.
