cause its all turned to GARBAGE!!!! go back to 2008 when you had half a clue!

In 2008 we only had starter clubs and 1 single loop of 9 holes on Kiawa. They alternated the 9 holes monthly.Community was different then.Expectations of low scores were non existent amongst 90% of the players.Players played for fun with friends and the occasional community comp. Now we shoot forward 7 years and we have 3 irons that can spin back and flops that spin back and now players EXPECT to shoot low scores because they have purchased top line equipment! But really learning how to hand 4 or i my case 5 dots of Ball spin combined with 4.5 dots of Nike spin is quite complex and there is a huge fine line between a gimmie and a 15 foot putt.Wgt opened the door for all this by , in my opinion introducing clubs that have made the game very easy and more importantly raised players expectancy  levels. So we have ZERO spin in 2008 and 9.5 in 2015. The game was always going to incur bugs and complaints way more than there was back then.

Would you trade your irons etc and all the new courses and go back to the stone age era of 2008 without no bugs? with them Fred Flintstone irons? and 9 holes at Kiawa.

Wow, Priestess.  Never, in all my 6 years of existence living here in WGTverse, have I ever heard a player "break-it down!", so incisively.  I can remember when there were only Kiawah, Bethpage AND St. Andrews was "The newest thing on the shelfves!".

    Way to give prospective.

About those Freddy Flintsone irons, you didn't have to "ding" them, right?  'Cause I remember Freddy, himself, slicing and hooking things way off to the side and still ricocheting them into hole. LOL

Priestess, the world was considered flat many years ago.....

We also pay for the nice clubs and balls and some courses. If this game was totally free, then the amount of bugs would be far more acceptable.  and the ridiculous changes that WGT make, again, fine.

But when the bugs aren't addressed adequately and these stupid features that they introduce creates more issues to the basic game, that's a bit harder to accept

I guess we all forget that this game is still in a Beta version, 7 years on.......

Actually if you take a look at the WGT header above play now, it is not.  It hasn't said Beta after the name for quite some time now.

I don't care what this site was like or how many courses and clubs they had in 2008 - for what they charge for balls and clubs, their product should be more reliable than it currently is.

    LOL

The British car industry in the 70s produced cars that never started v well in winter.  Very complicated things you know they said.  Sadly even more complicated to get it fixed as the parts department was usually on strike.

The Japanese then started importing cars that did start most every time, and included heaters that usually worked as standard.

Oh for real competition.  For all the good things this place is it really does need a boot up the rear as well sometimes.
