cause its all turned to GARBAGE!!!! go back to 2008 when you had half a clue!

In 2008 we only had starter clubs and 1 single loop of 9 holes on Kiawa. They alternated the 9 holes monthly.Community was different then.Expectations of low scores were non existent amongst 90% of the players.Players played for fun with friends and the occasional community comp. Now we shoot forward 7 years and we have 3 irons that can spin back and flops that spin back and now players EXPECT to shoot low scores because they have purchased top line equipment! But really learning how to hand 4 or i my case 5 dots of Ball spin combined with 4.5 dots of Nike spin is quite complex and there is a huge fine line between a gimmie and a 15 foot putt.Wgt opened the door for all this by , in my opinion introducing clubs that have made the game very easy and more importantly raised players expectancy  levels. So we have ZERO spin in 2008 and 9.5 in 2015. The game was always going to incur bugs and complaints way more than there was back then.

Would you trade your irons etc and all the new courses and go back to the stone age era of 2008 without no bugs? with them Fred Flintstone irons? and 9 holes at Kiawa.

if it meant not getting booted after every last putt of the round and actually having an alt shot game without constant player disconnections, yea id head back to the stone age.

I guess we all forget that this game is still in a Beta version, 7 years on.......

Actually if you take a look at the WGT header above play now, it is not.  It hasn't said Beta after the name for quite some time now.

I do beleave that it is still beta.No longer stateing so was a over site.

They fogot to add it to the page.

Had it moved on.They would have posted it with a big pat on there back's.

    IMO.

About those Freddy Flintsone irons, you didn't have to "ding" them, right?  'Cause I remember Freddy, himself, slicing and hooking things way off to the side and still ricocheting them into hole. LOL

LOL in them days you was happy to see a 20 foot putt after a ding

But in those days the game was more of a challenge and MORE FUN!!  I remember trying to qualify for St Andrews Open when the cut was -8.  Limited spin and less precision made the game much more challenging and you had to think more of shots.  It was much more fun trying to qualify with realistic scores rather than what chambers bay will be like trying to qualify with every hole nearly a birdie

Totally agree Chris:) and More fun because we never expected to go out and make lots of birds it was a test of patients more than anything. This is why i like to compete now more with un-even lies to break the boredom of having to make 9 birds to win a comp over 9 holes>> Maybe  !! lol Look at the virtual tour at BP. players shot 18 under par first day and it wasn't that difficult. So you shoot 18 under par and walk way sharing lead with 8 or 9 players or even be 1 behind at the end because someone will score 19 under.Compare that to around 2 under par back then and wow you had to work for that 2 under par. End of the day, give players clubs that can make the ball dance form 200 plus yards and the expectancy level is sky high which is going to lead to un-rest and complaints.

Did you bother to look at Fmags on twitch?

    No, thought not.....what a dickhead.

But of course, when someone is better (considerably better) it is easier to cast stones than admit this fact.

And I concur, the equipment has made the game too easy - look back to when a score of 4 under was enough to win a VUSO.......now a 13 under will only just squeeze you in to qualify.
