Bah! pointless upgrades at a time when fixes are needed and not features.

Disable caddy does NOT work on the greens, which is the most important place for it IMO. The most common mistakes (for me): choosing a scale, then having a quick look at chip view, then having the caddy revert back to his choice of putt scale when going back to putt; and (for the Nike putter) putts in the 9 foot region when expected a 10 scale and being given a 20 or vice versa.

Just popped in to look and see if that was mentioned yet lol.

Also,  from just off the green, I chose my 64° wedge, and the pitch shot was already selected for me.  Should be just full shot until I decide what shot type I want to use.  So,  I guess there is still room for error, which means we'll still hear the caddy complaints.  ;-)

I hope focus boost never gets rolled out for non-practice play, although this is likely a trial for doing exactly that. It would be an admission that WGT can't competently tackle the slow meter cheats, and instead want honest players to pay to have the same advantage on a shot or two that the cheats have on every shot. It would also reduce the guilt factor for the cheats, as they can tell themselves they are no longer gaining a scoring advantage over their honest rivals, just saving paying WGT credits.

Spot on, WGT Is admiting they can't do squat about cheaters so they think, If you can't beat them, JOIN THEM ------ AT A HUGE PROFIT FOR WGT!

That's all very disappointing, I only played the new ctth, so didn't notice. Looks like my enthusiasm was a tad premature.

I agree with you on this wholeheartedly. Also with how the VEM has been anyhow, even a ding guarantees nothing, and to be honest, unless it was super slow, I'd still probably not ding more shots than I do anyway. I hope this is just a little April Fools joke.

If they did bring them into all modes of play who would honestly buy them?

Take a par 4 18 hole rg and you use it on all 18 approaches, that's 540c, would anyone seriously pay that? Not when a whole sleeve of max's is 700c.

It's a strange addition for sure at a silly price but heck I would pay 5c a pop for a better chance at a ding in a rg..

Mags, have you considered a golf bag? I have 4 sets saved, in diff slots, so never need to change any clubs, just change to the set I want to use for that specific course..

Early comments on disabling swing caddy:  I like the concept but PLEASE disable the auto-selection of putting range on greens. This is the biggest source of problems with the caddy for me. Also please allow us to select the proper club using the mouse wheel WITHOUT having to click on the "Select Club" box first.

Can you please turn off the horrible red background for the Transamerica ad on the startup page?? Best option would be to have no full screen background but if that's not allowed, please give us a nice subtle color to look at.

I agree - hope this an April Fool's joke and that they actually fixed some of the problems that have been identified.

Ooops - was just playing a round and the jokes on me - none of the problems have been addressed
