I had a thought in wondering about this upcoming event. Based upon what you have experienced so far at the CTTH at Chambers Bay, and then trying to invision it full-on with  Champ speed greens, what would you suppose the qualifing cut line to be....I don't know what the par is...70 -71-72 ? Put on your magic thinking cap and venture a guess.

According to the USGA, Chambers Bay will play as a par 70, all four days of the U.S. Open championship. I would expect WGT to follow suit ...

Cut line will most probably be about 57 ... like the three previous years on WGT ...

But it may go a shot or two lower with the better equipment ...

55 should do it I reckon.

Not googled it, but on the basis my addled memory says a links course going to plump for that 55.  Hard to really capture the full difficulty of links golf here, even if still loads of fun.  Depends how they set the full conditions, but 55 is my wild card.

I like links golf IRL and on here, and confident this one will deliver large.

I'll say 58.  That will be 1 stroke less than my best score in the qualifier.

There are too many good players with too good of equipment for it to be 58 or higher. I'm going to say 56. (I've never shot a 56.)
