I agree with HP on this one, the Versa got to the point where it felt like it was just punishing me on those 4-10 footers.  I went back to the Max for the massive meter choices, fewer 3 putts when it is so easy to get the speed right.  As poorly as I  putt maybe I should just use the starter..... heck my longest putt in a ranked round was with it anyways.

Good example of how personal a putter can be. It fixed those 4-10 footers for me and got me to TL.  :-)

Heck, even getting the gut feeling that having all those putter scale/increments is giving me too many options and I am so lost in putting lately.

If nothing new comes out soon, I'm just gonna go back to the Rossa again.  (possibly the 4th or 5th time buying that damn putter lol)

But it just worked for me and should have never left it in the first place, but I like new toys lol.  I can't hit the ding to save my life with the putter latley, hell, can't even miss on the correct side the last few days.  Maybe I'll load the ez swing putter LOL.

    BTW  Bump.   ;-)

Anybody ever mention you might be your own worst putting enemy?

    Just wondering.  LOL

The putter needs to be trusted, I loved my old 70 versa, but changed to 94 nike, was having issues with it  for many weeks before it became my friend.

Changing putters is really the last thing after irons, wedges , driver and 3 wood.

IRL I swap putters too often.  Toy shop intoxication, gear freak and trying to repeat those few (way too few, LOL)  that seemed to really come together.  Past a certain early point it's not the putter though any more than here, but all a laugh over a beer at the 19th ( including for the local pro shop with another sale too, LOL).

Here so much "feel" must come from only increments (putter pal / avatar moves), and so arguably it's even more important not to swap so often.  Hitting 5' on a Nike L77 on the 10' scale is not the same as 5' on the 15' Versa scale.

IRL a roughly same weight / shape putter in your hands you can quickly feel if your 10" power draw distance is 10' with a new putter, and adjust around that "feel".  Here all must be learned with each increment to get that feel.

Load a decent putter, stick to it and your game will return :).

20 foot downhill 7 , and no two putter will do the same!

my upgrade from 55 nike to 77 took a few weeks !

never give up on any new gear early !
