Iron is still to new and some of the features don't work like the bookmark manager, and the full screen option as stated in the Iron forums.

Using Iron for anything other than the game client defeats the purpose. A no frills dedicated browser for nothing other than playing the game gives excellent results. No plug ins, no active links, no nothing-just the game client.

My full screen view of the game has about 1/2" of dark space on either side. Top to bottom is all game. I seriously recommend using any of the other browsers for day to day stuff and keep Iron pristine for the game. It really works well.

YJ, I could not agree more, playing wgt. Iron is not that new at all.

I guess it's a matter of opinion SGTBilko. Iron is still to new and some of the features don't work like the bookmark manager, and the full screen option as stated in the Iron forums. I don't see much of a difference, but that's just my opinion.

WGT is now in collaboration with Google Chrome as well.

Don't get me wrong, Chrome is great but when it comes to WGT iron is the best no thrills browser out there. I only use it for WGT. Iron is nothing more than chrome stripped of all the add on's and was developed because chrome violated Germany's Privacy Policies because they track everything you do. This I could care less but often if chrome is having meter problems I will jump on Iron and away they go. Thanks for your response though.

Jim, Sarge, I agree guys. I used Iron just like you said Jim,  I just couldn't see a difference in the two browsers as far as meter performance goes. Bookmarking, and playing in full screen makes life a little easier too if it actually worked.

I'm going to give Iron another look when they fix a few more bugs with it. The Iron forums are very helpful too. I will continue to share Iron with the other members to see if they can improve a poor meter with it.

Iron is not going to make the meter any different than any other browser. What it does is reduce the outside CPU distractions. Playing the game in that browser with everything else closed minimizes extraneous CPU operations that would normally affect the meter function. Skips, stalls and jerks are still present but much more manageable this way and not quite as severe or frequent.
