    donsprintr:

    Front nine:

Holes #1, #8, and #9 are from the master tees instead of the championship tees

    Back nine:

Hole #14 is from the pro tees! Hole #17, and #18 are from the master tees...

And it's low winds instead of moderate winds.

They've made it easy this year.

I'll revise my cutline prediction to probably 56 (-15) ...

It's easily gonna be 56, theres a possiblity of a possible 3 eagles in a round (4. 12 is pretty much an auto eagle with a good drive and 18)

I just played a fair round, left quite a few strokes out there, and shot a 55.  With the low winds and shorter tees on some of the holes, the qual # is likely to be 55 or maybe 54.

They finally gave themselves the ability to mix tee boxes in rounds!  Originally, they could only use one set of tees for all holes.  If your default was blue tees, all holes had to be from the blues.  With the latest change, they can set tees on a hole-by-hole basis it appears.  TLs for example can now see holes played from reds, or whites, or blue tees in tournaments.  Hey, just like IRL, the greenskeeper can make things interesting.

One of my suggestions (to mix tee boxes) from way back in 2009, thank you WGT!

So, when will this course be available to have a multi-player round in regular stroke play or available to play in the other various matches, i.e. ALT, Match Play, etc...?

It is available already for multi-player games.. when you open your game window with Chamber Bay in it.. roll your mouse over experience Chambers Bay, then click create group, and go from there

Lol, 55 ain't bad, short tees helps a lot : )), and yes I predict the cut to be at 54.

...I got myself a 56 with 100% GIR, 3 eagles but with several shorts putts missed (miserably indeed) : (((.

As a brand new TL, I am paying the plates when reading the greens, 3 of those silly short putts missed had almost not break!

Well, still time to recover and get those 2-3 shots less to make the cut : ))

I played it using the backdoor once and predicted a 55 cutline...

I don't know about that now that they moved some of the tees up...I shot a 59 my 2nd time playing the course and had 5 lipouts, 1 for eagle and 4 for birdie, 1 inside of 12 ft, 4 from 6 to 9 ft...looked like they were in buuuutttttt....

I really am expecting some 50's, and a ton of 52-54 scores...(not by me, I just had my chance to go low, good winds, focused on playing, and blew it!)...you might be right about that 54 to qualify LOL.

I love playing this course though, 10 times more fun than Merion or Pinehurst, 100 times more than Brandon Dunes...

i like the way its setup with some different tees just like real life golf tournaments when they use different tees to make things interesting, if only we could do that when creating CC tournaments with a mixture of tees for some variety etc, it would make WGT 100 times better if we could create tournaments with different tees on 4 round multi tournaments.

maybe someday it will happen, it would be a step forward for this game

I'm thinking 57 may hold out, I base it on the TA Classic at BPB which putts much easier than Chambers bay..I don't think there were (TL's and Legend combined) more than 150-175 players went went 57 (round 1) and below...I what I feel is an easier course.

Do we really have over 176 players who can put up 55's or less here?

I know we have at least 75 that can...but we have two months to find out I guess;)
