I know we have at least 75 that can...but we have two months to find out I guess;)

Interesting twist this year having it available for multiplayer matches. Just went for some random AS and found myself at CBay. Don't recall an open course being so available this early.  :-)

Lol, 55 ain't bad, short tees helps a lot : )), and yes I predict the cut to be at 54.

...I got myself a 56 with 100% GIR, 3 eagles but with several shorts putts missed (miserably indeed) : (((.

As a brand new TL, I am paying the plates when reading the greens, 3 of those silly short putts missed had almost not break!

Well, still time to recover and get those 2-3 shots less to make the cut : ))

Wow, if a lower TL thinks a 53 is on the cards (Eric). I guess I'll think the best will be well under 50. Unless the shouter (Erie) is getting too big for his boots.

    Let's see it mate......

Ok, thanks for letting me know how to get to the multi-player option but how can we play Chambers Bay as a single player for either just the front or back 9, Instead of having to play the whole 18?

????Don't you get something like 2000 credits for qualifying for the US Open???

Seems like I read that last year...

Fairly sure it was 2000 last year.

In with a 55 having only left one putt out there that I should really have converted I think. No eagles though, and some real eagle chances there as we know.

Hate tempting fate, but I would think 56 should cut it with a big "just" next to that.  There are several top players that I can see some magical low scores coming from.  I Doubt there will be a will to grind the cut sub 56 for the masses though.  Feel as if might be tempting fate though  as say.  If I can shoot a 55, without an eagle, first go then 55 is v obtainable.............V fortunate to shoot 55 first try, and need to wait and see if that fortune is enough to save me from the grind this year.  Frankly though only so much grinding I am prepared to bother with, and I doubt I would be shooting near 55 most visits.

Early doors but if sticking my neck out 55 is enough, and will be the cut if had to give one number.  Gut says 56 should be safe though, whilst 57 is looking very precarious already.   Have to wait and see how it plays out of course though as a lot will depend on the will of the masses to improve / grind, and I doubt there will be that huge a movement to plummet the cut to 54.  Now what's that about famous last, LOL.

I tend to agree, and hence why I may only give it one shot....because I know I will not go that low. I signed up for new rags lol

But it shows how far equipment has come when we talk of a cut at 56.......makes a mockery again of a great course.

The horse bolted a long time ago and they never closed the gate.

I can't defend 56 as a cut, and nor would I wish to (15 birds out of 18 even if no eagle needed in that for 56).  Fact is equipment did just got too good.

I would say though that the conditions are easier than certainly I expected, and a big plus is that you can maximise scoring potential by playing the roll on some greens, IMO.

The B9 driveable par 4 (? exactly which one) struck me as fools gold trying to drive it, well, at least unless you really need to chase an eagle   That's also admittedly without without really knowing the hole / course.  Played conservatively it's pretty much a gimme bird.  Maybe that higher trajectory L100 driver might land soft enough often enough or the 3 wood is OK with a fair wind, but some good risk v reward still I would think.  Anyway I won't be touching it again VUSO qualifying mode wise unless I need to improve my 55, and know full well qualifying is as far as my realistic chances take me.  It's not playing hard though, as say, and so I personally can't see the cut getting as high as 57 (early doors), and can't see enough of the masses grinding it to 54 (math easy on birds needed for that).  Like I said before though, famous last maybe, LOL.

Good luck in your attempts :)

After 3 days I'm starting to believe the cut will end up in 54.

There are now in 2015 many more TL players than in 2014 and some new doing good enough to make the cut.

Still 26 days to go & most of the top players have not posted a score yet.

...and yes I almost forgot the cheaters, couple of them shy already in the leader board, many more will come soon with knocking scores.

Wonder also how many of those new TL with pretty 48-51 avg will submit scores, I bet there will be none ; )

Is it silly thinking about 53 for the cut?........wait & see, we might all be surprised.

Been playing random alternates at Chambers...wow!, so tough with mid-high winds and very looong tees....just love it : )))
