This is not to keep this topic going, only to say to Mike, I failed to mention the players who missed all the rounds last time were some of our best scorers, This is why I stated we may have done better had we been able to get a score or two out of em. ; - )
Last, I agree with you, Carlos, that the scoring in last tourney may have been a better way, but I'd have to look hard at it before deciding that. It almost seems more appropriate, to me anyway, for a Davis Cup to be decided by all players scores being used.
I think the more, if there are to be more, these are done the better it will be for CC's. Every owner runs theirs how they see fit, but it helps weed out those who are not about participation, & it brings members out who you rarely hear from anymore. Plus it makes wgt look amateurish. lol
Sorry to anyone who feels their team didn't get a fair shake, but I do have very serious doubts any of it was done purposefully, and I hope all teams will be back for (the next one?). And continue to help these tourney's grow until wgt is shamed into taking some type of positive action.
