Managed to find Maxthon with pure AB+.  Not entirely positive it's 3, but ah well.

I seem to be suffering from premature e-clickulation on this browser.  Response time is much higher than Chrome.  It's like re-learning from scratch.

Can't speak for anyone else, but for myself, it seems to be doing the trick.

Chrome always had what I called "acceptable drag".  I knew when to click to ding.  Doesn't mean I always did, but I knew about when.

Maxthon seems to be a bit further along in the swing for the right time to click.  Taking me time to get used to it, but I think once I do, it'll help me out a ton.

If you click on the Happy Face (top left corner) you'll get a drop-down menu, click on > about.

It will show which version you have.

I downloaded Maxthon,  Luigi's (ZioMio) advise. I have windows 8.1 and the version I got is Maxthon Cloud Browser. It's great! I got rid of that side bar.  Very happy with it. Rarely any issues :)

Just go to Maxthon.com. Max 3 is situated near the bottom.

There are a couple of browsers that are in my opinion better than Maxthon. Comodo Dragon and Comodo Ice Dragon. Comodo Dragon is chrome based and Ice Dragon is Firefox based. 2 other good ones are Pale Moon 64 which is 64 bit and firefox based and Waterfox which is also a Firefox based 64 bit browser.

I Have disabled chrome from updating itself, using an older version of chrome and never have any problems.. Meter is smooth as silk most of the time, and when it isn't I know it is time to clear the cache.
