Alternate Shot Game when up pops "Forfeited Match"

  SeattleSue:

  This has happened in every alt game I've tried to play today.  Not a single completion.  Very frustrating.  New WGT glitch?

  It's becoming apparent that WGT's new strategy to keep game "interesting" for us is to continually change up the glitches....they don't want to bore us with the same glitches over and over

  Don't hit the enter button on your keyboard when chatting. Use the send button next to the chat box. I have not had 1 game failure since players in the group have adopted this chat method.

  Happened 4 times in games I've been in now.

  For me, reproducible: Type in some text in chat. Wait to hit enter. As a hole finishes and is fading out, and before the score card pops up, hit enter. Hitting enter appears to be forfeiting the game.

  IF THE ABOVE IS TRUE THEN ITS SIMPLE FIX
  
  
  The forfeit button must have been given FOCUS at this point in the game, so hitting enter activates forfeit i think

  I was using this method last night & still experienced 2 forfeited games!

  Also the amount of time it was taking just to get 4 players that could see each other before choosing teams was absolutely ridiculous.

  I saw it happen yesterday in the middle of a hole, so it can't just be hitting the button accidentally in the scorecard screen.

  Yep, Kitty is right. If you type a comment and press enter between holes loading you get the boot. Just happened twice in our games.

  Just happened here too, on Chambers Bay F9 we went 2 up on 6th and the match got binned on the 7th saying we won by forfeit.

  The same thing has just happened to me....2 alt shot games in a row have been been forfeited out of the blue.   First one said I forfeited....I didn't !!!!

  This same problem has happened to me or someone else in my game several times in the last few days. It's always in AS games, at least in my experience. 

  The latest was tonight. Finished second hole at Merion and waiting for next hole to load. Suddenly I see a message that I had forfeited. I was not using the keyboard or mouse at the time and had not used them after the last player missed his putt & we won the hole.

  This is not specifically a "hit the ENTER key" problem and this has never been a problem before the latest update to the game.

  same here too. guess its been going around.
