  going to close 12th hole challenge. 4th hole idea is nice :)

  Thanks for the balls Icon. Much appreciated. Had fun with this challenge. And thanks for setting it up, and offering prizes. There are some crazy, insane putts from those who did it.

  I cocur with posts by Martyflanagan and gdog8. The correct 10 prizewinners are shown in the above amended list (in order they posted their first >90ft putt)

  Hakman123 posted the longest putt first at 132 ft  

  andyson then matched that distance.

  This was a blast and certainly something a bit diferent.

  I posted the idea above for round #2 (longest putt on CB #4). But there are plenty of options fo very interesting comps if you want to continue this....

  How about:-

  a) Longest putt on not just a particular hole - but a whole course - say St.Andrews.

  b) As andyson said -  longest chip on a hole or an entire course  (or flop, or pitch)

  c) Longest shot holed from the green using a club other than a putter

  d) Longest shot holed from the rough

  many weeks of futile time wasting for all    :)
