  Hi  Everyone,

  Here are the release notes for 5/18/15

  • Focus Boost – The new Focus Boost is now available in all game types, to slow down your WGT swing meter on those big shots when you need a little extra focus, just look for the lightning bolt above your swing meter
  • TaylorMade RSi 2 Irons – The newest virtual iron set on WGT from TaylorMade will help you hit more greens and lower your scores, unlocking for top WGT players at Level 90
  • Nike Method Putter – New top performing Nike virtual putter for high-level players, with more precision, balance and a slower swing meter, unlocking at Level 101
  • TaylorMade R1 Driver – New top performing driver to improve overall driving performance for players competing at the highest levels, unlocking at Level 103
  • Remove Golf Balls – Now you can remove any virtual golf balls you no longer want from your inventory, just open your equipment screen to choose

   

  Fixed Issues

  • Closing game during chat – Fixed an issue that closed a game when one player used the ‘Enter’ key during a multiplayer game chat
  • “One hit left” warning – Fixed issue that incorrectly showed players a message that they only had one hit left on their last golf ball, when they still have more balls available
  • Gimmes on last shot – Option to “Take Gimme” is now shown correctly on all shots where ball is within gimme range

  Add:

  For each mail address that we give to WGT to "INVITE FRIENDS", we get ONE "premium" Callaway ball if the friend accepts the invitation.

  That was released like 2-3 weeks before The Masters, Dan ;-) I Bought it without testing it and I regret it, cause I outdrive it with my BB 282y club 90% of the time.

  Just a question on this...   Not sure too much about it.  I clicked the L/Bolt and it said 30crs... is that 30crs a shot or a few shots

  Ooooppps, my bad, haven't been to the proshop in months...

  I was liking that extra 2 yrds on the TM lvl 103 driver until I seen the meter speed was 5.0...that means a month of dead pulls left on the tee box...

  Caveat emptor I guess.  40 ? credits for one shot to miss early.  I can turn it off globally I assume.

  Well played.  make a lot of people happy, and solves a real issue with perception at least.

  Changed it to  Versa scales.  Won't please Nike people.  Personally it's hard to look past the meter speed being the same as the L96 Versa.  Not saying you should make it a 5, but then again.......No rush fo rthe free rental weekend put it that way.

  No rush to look at that.  Missed a trick with variable setting which may have tempted me to strive.

  Hope so

  I can't help but think you guys are a bit like a mini google though.  Great base product, but different departments all with new ideas and instigating them in a way that does not gel at all.

  CCs you want to start up yet players are attracted (if they look at it) to higher levels (some degree) as they get those extra precious XP.  That's not upwards pressure on new growth in my book.  Probably not a big deal, but would not be the way I would do it.  Then again maybe you know of enough CCs actually scrambling to those levels by actually buying passes / whatever.....No real clue this side of the fence of course.

  Equipment wise player s start, and must look at levels after a while and realise L103 is 3 years of way more play than most will contemplate.  OK at L90 a player is basically sorted but they have to be in to the game to find that out, and even then must wonder a bit even now???  Personally I think the game is screaming for some new tier (or something) that gets the entire pro shop open a bit earlier for talented players.  Stick the hoops in but SMART ones (sensible measurable reallistic with a time frame that is half way sensible.  Up to you but L103 I don't see as a carrot or any kind of incentive for enough.  Not saying you need it, but how many consider that...If I were a aid out of courtesy as makes bat crap difference to me.  Well done on the L90 irons though that was an issue (even if plenty will find out more with perception I would think).
