  Sorry Bogey.  My mistake and I stand corrected.  Thanks for the heads up.

  However, my point still stands, age limit or not.  Just because we must be legally old enough to see this stuff, doesn't mean we have to be shown it.  There is no way to filter it out, so I am exposed to it if it comes up on a profile in a round (say a blitz).

  I don't think it has a place here.  There are plenty of places where you would expect to get that - but this isn't one of them, I reckon.

  Let me throw my 2 cents in as well.  The age requirement to play might be 18 but the age requirement to watch is not and my 11 year old son watches me play quite a bit.  I see no reason to allow explicit pictures on profiles.  I am all for free speech and expression but come on.

  Explicit profile pics are not allowed.

  That being said, WGT cannot verify every pic that someone uploads.

  If you see an avatar that you deem to be offensive, send the user name to members@worldgolftour.com

  It's always worked for me.....................     :)

  very well may be SC'....but they should be accountable for any offensive pix displayed, as stated in the T&C's. 

  This game site is golf and golf only not a chat, dating, pseudo-porno, look at me how ***'en I am web site. There are numerous other sites not sponsored by WGT for "developing" friendships. IMHO 

   

  edit... WGT can verify every pic. this post was edited by WGT for offensive language as written by me......ie *****en vs b  ch'en. thank-you WGT monitor..:)

  Text and images are two different things.

  For the text they just program in what words are taboo and poof..... editing. It can get overzealous, just ask Elispice.

  To a computer, there are no such thing as pictures, just pixels. A human would have to look at each one.
