NIKE Method 001 Putter M2 (L101+)

    I bought the NIKE Method 001 Putter M2 (L101+) a couple days ago and all was fine. I even played a couple of rounds this morning and the scale was right on. However now it is totally FUBARed.

      Seems to be a rolling bug...not affecting everyone at the same time??

  Note...the 47.4 isn't the percentage, I use it as "Fast" greens in feet, so with your calcs ...Dave...I would have hit three  av's on my 150 scale and a scooch more

  in his calculation 47.4 IS the percentage on the 100 scale

  Welcome to the club, Chaos.  You've got it about right; sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't.  Different browsers, time of day, or course, seem to make no difference.

  Being a glutton for punishment, and feeling rich, I purchased the NIKE Method 001 Putter M2 (L101+).  It worked just fine yesterday but today it seems to have entered the twilight zone.

  Of course I jumped right into a CC event without any warmup so I didn't find out until it was too late. (And since I never quit a round that is why I posted a 93 in the tournament.)

  I'll try to explain it first, but there is also video evidence.

  It looks to me like the farther from the hole you are the faster the relative green speed, ranging from nearly immovable object at less than a foot away to extreme fast at 50 feet or so.

  I've cleared and cleaned every thing I can think of, but the new putter is behaving the same way wherever I have tried it.

  When I switch back to my old putter everything functions as normal.

  EDIT :  AND...Now that I have logged off and on for the 3rd time (without changing anything else) the new putter is working correctly again.

  Welcome to the club, Chaos.  You've got it about right; sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't.  Different browsers, time of day, or course, seem to make no difference.

  It might be due to a specific WGT server having corrupted data. 

  Does closing and re-loading the game client ever change the putter performance?

  Dave's 1st post edit says it does but wouldn't it stay fixed if corrupt data was the culprit?

  Yes if he stayed on the same server with good data.  He did a lot of things and its hard to tell if/when servers change or when the game client restarted and if so did he re-connect to the same bad/good server?  Some methodical testing and reporting is needed to see if its server related.

  Everybody must submit bug reports if this happens to them. Right click in the game window and take it from there....

  Yep! Good suggestion!  

  You'd think a Mod or Admin would have replied to this thread by now?  Are WGT 'looking into it'?  Is QA team investigating? CS appears to be aware as a refund was given.
