    mkrizan86:

Nice to see this thing has become so popular, people even started playing it from internet cafes.

There was NO need to bring up THAT cloud man...( A tourny for the purists )

Even tho He is a cheating C**t obviously !! AND......

Has brass balls to turn up in ANY comp...imo

Just sayin....( rightly o wrongly )

( cough ) tho I'm perfectly correct in my assessment !

    Andy

EDIT: Sad thing is He really didn't need to..is better than most playing straight !

    Forever tarnished now though...pity.

I'm actually glad that Jure (mkrizan86) did bring up our "most celebrated internet cafe player."

I don't believe that the player in question follows the forums, but his failure to offer a plausible explanation for what was seen in the VT Playoff event at Bandon (in fact, quite the opposite), means he's no longer welcome in any event I am organizing (and I feel awful that such a player was a part of a prior UEL Ryder Cup). Needless to say, any kind of cheating is not sanctioned or welcome in any of the events I organize.

It saddens me that any community-organized events would get tarnished by the presence of cheats, especially when so much effort and goodwill from many players goes into running them.

Since this particular tourney is now part of the main Game Client/Tourney List, it has become de facto a full WGT event, subject to their rules.

Is there a prize for "most improved"? Zag went from a 106 to an 84 in the second round.

Sadly no-one has offered that prize this time, Zag. But with over 5 pages of entries (and thus no way to see all the posted scores), I doubt we could ever find out the true winner.

Congrats anyway on such rapid improvement, lol!

    -------------

FYI: I've updated the 2nd post on page 1 to show the sponsored prizes. It's not too late if any other sponsors want to offer a special prize.

Please note, with family commitments (and the competing US Open to watch), I have little time on here right now, so won't be getting to the Stats spreadsheet very quickly.

Same score very different way .. Putted like Rory in rd 3 lol.. Highlight being 3 birdies(2 from places I was looking at bogey). Hit bunker at #3, pitched out and made from 62 yds.

Also #12 from behind the green fortunately the hole got in the way. Terrible finish followed that with a 7 at #16,

Very generous of you, Andy... Thank you!

And I also forgot about a PM I received from Jure (mkrizan86) offering to sponsor 2 sleeves. We're just finalizing what those will be for.

So, keep those cards and stats coming, and best of luck to those of you still to play R2. I urge you to complete your round, even if you think you're outside a top 5 slot, or can't win a special prize. (I am offering a sleeve to all players that finish every TIO event round this year, regardless of their score: the ultimate endurance prize!)

Managed to improve by 16 strokes on my 1st round, but for 2 really stupid double bogeys when in prime position, could have been a lot better.

Thanks for running Corwyn, great fun.

Terrible 2.1 ft miss on #9 left me cursing and swearing "NEVER using this putter again"...missed the ding by 3mm and the damn thing came of the blade diagonally to go wide of the hole by 0.3 inches ???

Made up for it with a good par on the last after going over the back on app...

Shot for the pin this round, instead of playing to center green.....so,

A few bunks hit and over the green on many holes, however, got up and down most times which made it a very enjoyable scrambling round if not spectacular scoring.

    Thx Corwyn.
