Thanks. that did it. Except each time Dragon loads you have to give Flash permission to run. Haven'[t found out yet if there is a way to give it permanent permission. I am sure there must be but haven't found it yet.

    dont clear cache on exit

    type chrome://plugins

    scroll down to flashplayer

tick the box "always allowed to run"

    fine til cache cleared etc

Do what I did. Switch Comodo Ice Dragon.

Or do what I do and leave the friggin updates to CD alone!! I deny any request by CD to update Flash-had one yesterday-and am still running the same old version of Flash I've been using for a long time. Zero problems.

If you want to undo Flash installations, going to the Control Panel is not the way to do it, you must use Flash's uninstaller.

    Uninstall Flash.

    Archived (older) Flash players.

The version I've been using since it came out is 11.9.900.117  (Dec 2013)

Some how my settings were changed. I had auto update for Comodo Drago disabled for almost 2 years then yesterday it updated while I was playing a round using Ice Dragon. After the update I checked and it had been enabled again. I don't recall enabling it. I may have but I don't recall doing it. But the older I get the worse my memory gets. I do try to keep flash up to date and except for a few updates where flash crashed  a lot the flash updates my done very well.

    I have the same problem.

Also my meter was not as smooth after the Comodo Dragon update. Noticed something else got installed other than the update to CD, McAfee Scan Plus (or something like that), I installed it and now my meter is smoother.

really? Did you know Maxthon3 like Comodo Dragon is chrome based? Also did you know that Maxthon3 started auto updating flash in the past month.I checked my flash version yesterday and it it the newest version. Before the only way to update flash on Maxthon3 was to manually change it. And if Maxthon is now auto updating flash it might also auto update the browser even if you have it set not to update. And then it might be just like Dragon was this week. Could have something to do with Google. Who knows for sure. But since Google removed Java support from Chrome some strange things have been happening with almost all Chrome based browsers.

Is there any truth in the rumor that Chrome is losing Flash in a month or so?
