As a director in my CC i am getting loads of complaints about the CC tourneys, we have all but suspended our normal schedule of events. Our members are losing interest in club tourneys and the club itself as I am now sounding like a WGT apologist on our club forums asking members to be patient with the situation.
I am really disappointed because I have been a director for 4 months and worked really hard to build up the level of interest in cthe club and its tourneys. I got our forums active, and I feel that my efforts have helped to drive our club onwards to such an extent that we are ranked just behind the Georgians on the weekly leader board.
Now I just seem to spend my time answering queries about club tourneys,- after i logged a complaint with WGT (i was one of the very early complaints id imagine) I got a reply from them asking to quantify losses to members, If this was the real world I would be suing not just for losses but for damages.
We are now back to where I started four months ago, participation levels in club tourneys are way down, I cant even be bothered to try and set up a tourney at the moment.
