Submitted a bug report and have questioned it in another thread, but perhaps a thread in this forum would make sense (a search didn't bring up an existing thread).

How does a shot "timeout"? The ball is clearly going downhill, approaching the pin (likely going by), when suddenly it stops? This has happened several times to me, and others have noticed it, too.

C'mon WGT - this takes away from the fun of the hole.

It would be good if WGT replied to this.  As I said in the other thread, the 30 second shot limit was fine when the maximum green speeds were slower.  It is time for WGT to look into changing the time limit.  And IMO it should be a simple change of one value if the code was done right in the first place.

Totally agree Andy. A 35 or 40 sec timer should suffice.

Would say yes as a refinement, but with the current track record happy to leave it as swings and roundabouts personally.

On #12 I'm not sure 40 would always be enough, but it would be better than 30.

The counter-clockwise tour of the green is part of the play of the hole. Would it be possible to program an exception (60 seconds?) for this particular hole?

5 to 10 seconds more, game wise, would be a big improvement. Ultimately, if they want to mimic reality, it should last till the ball stops moving.

    hi guys

I will check on this next week and see what we can do. I agree though, that one had a chance to get in the hole
